You say to be trying to get a confession out of her, yet it seems like once you became annoyed and bored with the conversation, you started ignoring the situation, trolling, joking, seemingly pushing the topic aside as if it didn't matter. Seems pretty odd for you to do if you were trying to get her to confess to something that it seems you did.
