I'm talking about the search functionality on Adult Chat Desktop. Currently you can search based on gender: male and female. And you can sort the results based on user rank, username, last active, and newest members. You can also sort it randomly.
The gender filter is kind of useless with so many guests not having their gender on the profile (as it's blank by default unless you go out of your way to pick one) and lots of accounts choose to keep it empty (which is fair enough). My point is that it doesn't really filter out much people as a significant number of people don't specify their gender. This could probably be fixed by requiring guests to pick a gender or leave it blank explicitly but that's not the point of this post.
I would like to request a new filter for search: country. I would like to be able to see the other users who are from the same country as me. So perhaps add another drop-down next to the gender filter that lists all the countries and the default is "any country". So users can click on the drop-down menu and pick the country they are looking for. This would be a far more useful filter as the vast majority of the users have their countries listed on their profiles.
I believe it should be an easy feature to add especially since country is a visible field for everyone by default.
