There is a particular "person" in girls chat, that repeated floods the room with anti-mod, anti-Cuddles (Cuddles is a room mod). The user goes by the name Maks, and he appears to be using a VPN. My technical question/suggestion: Does this software have an anti-flooding feature? Some software prevents posters from repeated posting the same thing over and over. If that feature does exist, can the chatmaster implement it to make it easier for the mods to control the disruption in the room? The mods do an outstanding job, but they can only do so much.

Your admin would have to add it to the ban filter if they repeat the same thing over and over. If you spam more than 5 times in a row or within a certain amount of time the system also mutes you for 15 mins. Idk what your room has for these settings but Enchantress would have access and maybe able to do something about it 🤷♂️
The system auto mutes after flooding 5 of the same thing in the matter of seconds I believe.
Thanks Dylan, I'll pm Enchantress next time I see her and bring it up. Trouble is, the flooder, spams 5 times, gets kicked and then comes back on with (I'm assuming) another IP address from the VPN he's using. It's too bad, that we can't ban VPN's at log in.

Indeed they do. Usually they either spam and leave before we get our kicks in or they just come back in under a new IP n using a VPN. Indeed tho worth talking to Enchantress about it tho
Chat master also has the power to ban guests from entering using a VPN, as he has did it in other rooms before so that's another thing that could be done to help you guys in girls chat against this spammer

The only problem with the method of banning his "same messages, is the fact he changes what he's saying daily. Sometimes it's the same thing until he gets a reaction, then he changes it up to fit said reaction. On top of that, he's in there on 4-5 accounts at a time. Some guest and some not, it really is a bigger problem than just "ban what he's saying". Not that those suggestions are great and obviously you all know what you're saying, it's just a bit of a bigger problem. With the 3 newer moderators, it puts quite a bit of work on them as they are the ones who are around 85% of the time. Hopefully all these suggested solutions can shed some light on a fix to this problem.
Well yes them changing the script and account and guest switching is alot harder to try and put a stop to it. Hope there can be a solution found to this soon. Mods yes mods agree to mod and deal with the crap, ofc hell that's why I'm one. I can take the bs but my point is they should still be able to have a good time n chat to people without having assholes ruin it ultimately. That sh!t kills rooms. I've watched it happen many many many times :dontknow:
They do a great job, I was a moderator in there for a year, still should be honestly but that's a different story 😛 The ones that ar eon and dealing with it don't complain. They never asked me for to speak up on their behalf or anything, this is just me replying to the thread 😀 They handle it well and liek you said, they signed up for it and don't ever make the room feel as if it's too much work or they are breaking down because of it, so my hat is always off to them. Sadly also like you said, it kills the room, that combined with some other things, I watched the room population drop 50 people a couple minutes after the flooding started Saturday afternoon I believe. For Girls Chat, that's a decent hit. So like everyone else on this thread, let's all hope for the best that something can be done about this. Even from a ******** point of view, it's awesome other moderators from other rooms wish I luck 🙂
Oh ofc and I wish every room here the best of luck to everything. Would never want to see anything bad happen, and 50 holy crap. Tbf I've never looked at numbers when dealing with idiot spammers but I'd say we r not far off as alot get frustrated. I know something can be done to help solve parts it it. I just dunno myself about the whole thing 🤷♂️. I know about the things I said above tho as I've seen em happen. But the right people can even evade those 😐
