Made a random email address to make the Gen account. Have no clue what it was because I truly didn’t think I would ever need it again.

I may be wrong, I don't think admins can see emails (again I may be wrong)

We can’t see emails but the CM can. Easier to message us and we message them I’d say

I make random emails to make accounts. I don’t KNOW THE EMAIL I USED because it was one of those random ones. But all of my passwords are the same to them so if I can figure out what email it was, problem solved.

It’s not that unusual for people to use “burner” emails for different accounts and different apps.

I'm having the same issue... Gen Chat isn't emailing me a link to reset my password. I messaged @Chatmaster yesterday with no reply so far.

according to upper management, this issue (in terms of gen chat) has been fixed.

Kylie from General chat had a similar issue trying to reset their password.
Then Sammy Wise closes the thread saying the issue has been resolved in General Chat.
OP was not general chat specific. This has happened to me, forgetting a password and the reset feature does not work well in chat avenue.
I think the original thread should be reopened.
