Friendlist Refresh

Relevant text from the other thread about this: Adult... Friendlist doesn't refresh until it's clicked... it would automatically refresh like the Userlist every 30 seconds or so. Now, you can't see if a friend is online (or went offline) without specifically clicking to refresh it.

A friend helped test this in Adult. They went offline and I could verify they were offline by checking their profile to see the red dot, but they still showed online in the friendlist for 5 minutes while they were offline. It never updated at all.

This should’ve been corrected again already. Please do reach out to one of the Admin’s in those rooms so that they may follow up directly on it and provide some additional context if necessary.

Worse case scenario is that its something like that’ll need to be adjusted during the next update.

Thanks for the information!

After the latest Chrome update and a full restart, the friendlist is still not updating every 30 seconds or so like it was before the chat update. Now, it doesn't update until you manually click it to refresh it. You can't see friends come online or go offline without clicking the friendlist now. It's like this across Adult Desktop, Adult Mobile, and Sex Chat and I tested with help from friends. I'm not the only one having the issue. Can we adjust it so that it updates like it did before the chat update? 🍰

Thanks for the reply but I won't give up that easily. The site was previously able to do this and it's a step in the wrong direction for it to no longer be able. Let's take steps in the right direction to better it.

In the code that runs, there's a method that's called somewhere that refreshes that window. We know because it still does it the same way when the Userlist is selected. Just find the method that's called that controls the refresh for the Userlist and also make it do the same for the Friendlist.

Why that would ever be removed in the first place is beyond me, but I'm giving the answer to the problem. I don't know who to get in touch with to give the answer or I personally would. It can be set up again to refresh every 30 seconds like the Userlist does if we get in touch with whoever tackles the updates.
