I've been waiting for a good stupid/funny name to come up and finally found one.

Someone named "LonelyGrampa" in a kids chat. What can me more funnier and stupid than a grandpa finding his way through a kids chat while being lonely irl? xD
 
Just un-friend them or say them to stop,the last option never works to ignore button and un-friend button is the last thing to do. I feel bad for the people who get spammed by a random user everyday in friends wall and they can't just un-friend the user... I had the same thing 2 weeks ago. :/ mods will take care of it I guess

Well,some rumors are true. I'm not going to say which ones because there's a chance of me getting banned for that lmao,it's about Arkham and he's stresfull life.
 
Hello Friends! Its me, HeyJude, moderator on KC.

I'm going to take a couple days off from modding. I'll check in just to see messages in the staff room, but, to be honest, I'm very stressed out from the chat room. Lately, modding hasn't been much fun. I've spent too much much time doing it, which is my fault. I need to step away for a couple days.

I'll be back probably Monday or Tuesday. In the meanwhile, stay safe, lean on your mod team (they are there for YOU) and use "ignore" - its lovely!

It definitely grows on you after a while and it can get a bit stressful when things get busy. Enjoy your much needed break 🙂
 
Well Toqfir I assure you any that you heard was started by a hater so that makes you either the fool or the idiot in this scenario. Sorry but you stepped right in to that one. 🙄
 
I don't think you ever took a break yet since you started modding at around Christmas time, so you definitely needed it. ^^ I'm glad you finally decided to take one as this reason is perfectly understandable for any mod on kids chat, and probably any other mod on this site as a whole. I barely take breaks myself, but I have some advice to give you. You can take a break when life has you busy, like if school gives you lots of work, if a hurricane or weather event that is bad and makes you lose power, hits where you live, take a break if stress or mental/physical health issues come into play for whatever reason it may be, and you can also take one if people give you trouble in chat, then take a break to prove to those people that they need you around to mod the chat because without you, pedos will overflow the chat and say; "Why isn't Jude on to kick these pedos? *sigh*" I have done that myself like 3 times already, taking a day off to prove people wrong, I've taken some days off for mental health issues in October, a few days off for physical health issues in September, and even two days off to study Chatmaster's new way of doing things for kids chat. So, if you do the math, I've probably taken two weeks off in total over the 10+ months that I've been modding kids chat.

Well anyway enough of that, please enjoy your break! :3
 
Just don't use pics of your face on a site that's shown it's incapable of stopping pedophiles. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but some of the creeps on the site probably save profile pics.

Until action is actually taken to stop these creeps rather than threats of action, it will keep happening. Do your best to stay safe until Chatmaster steps up to do something about it.

Old, tired ass subject - I know. However, as a mod, I'm tired of seeing rule breakers coming back after mutes or kicks, bitching and crying about others not getting kicked, or coming here and making accusations against the mods of showing favoritism.

I've told this true story before on here:

A very well-known, long-standing VIP, and a person who was on my friends list, and a person whom I liked, even though we had hardly anything in common, was kicked, by me, for making a death threat. When I kicked him, I knew this would be the end of him on Chat Avenue.
Did it hurt me personally? Yes. Did it hurt him? I'm sure. Was the chat room better off because of it? Indeed.

To sum things up, YOU broke a rule. Own it. Move on.

Then if yall are hell bent on enforcing the rules, ban Hugsfordrugs for the name or make the user change it. According to HeyJude he justified himself and this users name by saying it could be "legal" drugs. I'm not buying it as when you look at Hugsfordrugs profile, the background is someone lighting up. Dont know how clearer evidence is needed to show that the screen name clearly means illicit drugs. Do what is warranted and have the user change the name or ban them. Its really that easy.
