Actor Gene Hackman and his wife have been found dead at their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, police have said.

Santa Fe Sheriff's Office told Sky News: "We do not believe foul play was a factor in their deaths however, exact cause of death has not been determined at this time."

Local reports said the couple died along with their dog.

It's very sad when we lose a real gentleman a true man.i know of him through my beautiful grandmother who had the biggest crush on him lol. I just hope they run into one another in the afterlife
 
Although he was well before my time, I have seen his iconic Oscar-winning performances in films like The French Connection and Unforgiven.

I read about this at the same time as Michelle Trachtenberg’s untimely death from what appears to be complications after a liver transplant.

Hackman’s death along with that of his wife of 33 years and their dog, does indeed look highly suspicious.
 
latest i heard was that their deaths were due to gas, dunno if it's true what i read.i loved him in the superman films as lex luthor

Something is off with this one. Fox News not a credible news source but they reported that there was no carbon monoxide found.
Gene Hackman had been dead for 9 days according to pacemaker activity. No reports on how long the wife had been dead. Was she in the house when he died? Given his age he could of died from natural causes. There were pills found by his wife, did she discover his body and was so dishearten that she offed herself and the dog?

Pfft he was killed in cold blood.

Somebody didn't want them around and their dog.

I saw the news that it was determined that the wife died of hantavirus respiratory syndrome and died a few days before Gene Hackman who died of natural causes. Given his condition it is unlikely he was aware his wife had passed. The poor puppy that passed was found in a kennel inside and likely died of starvation.
 
Yup... very sad outcome. I heard it was a week between his wife passing from the virus naturally, and his own passing to heart failure/heart disease. You are likely correct, his wife being the primary caretaker, passes and his condition and age, he likely couldnt take care of himself, let alone their dogs.

I know Hackman was rich but he should of had hospice. I wonder why no one like relatives were checking on them.
The dog that passed was in a crate recovering from a procedure. I wonder if the pills found by the wife was possible medication for the dog. . The other inside dog was okay as was the outside one.
 
latest news i have just read dunno if it's true but i read that his 60 million dollar fortune he left nothing has been left to his kids
