General Chat/banned from main

Good evening,
I was in general chat today and some guy asked if I was raped. It was very upsetting. So I wanted the mod to kick them. I reported the comment. Chelle had been in the chat saying hi to everyone who tagged her saying hi. So I tried to get their attention to be like “can you please kick them”. Chelle got mad at me said I was on thin ice. Then went back to talking to people in the main chat and then eventually said I was really dumb because the guy who said it had already left.

The next thing I know, no one is able to see anything I post in the main chat and I’m not allowed to send photos.
I tried to msg apple pie about it. They ignored my msgs. I logged in as a guest and Apple pie said wait a day and follow the rules. I tried to explain I was following the rules and what had happened. Apple pie then kicked that guest account for two hours for “evading”.

How is it that being asked if I was raped okay, but me wanting something done about it not okay?

No point in making this complaint tbh 😕 the mod is never wrong unfortunately. That’s how it goes here….the famous line “ jUsT uSe IgNoRe”

That guy was a bloody idiot and a loser.

There's a good team there in General Chat.

Give it another chance and see how you go.

Must be a one-off accidental misstep or oversight error.

I've seen consistent good workings from @TheLeigh 's moderator team.

You'll be right las but naw that loser is a loser.

Thank you for the support. I appreciate you. I’ve been holding out hope for something to happen but I think they’re going to put it off till tomorrow and I’ll probably already have access again. But who knows maybe it’s gone for good. 🤷‍♀️

But one more thing - and I could be totally not telling the truth in part and this stance only - our @TheLeigh has been working tirelessly in the rooms she oversees - this is true - she had to take a short leave and the site encouraged her to take a break, so she's in the Bahamas at the moment - this might be true - lovely woman I must say, bit portly but she's working on it, and you know, she does have a fabulous team, I mean, they're all there working for free so you gotta give them an A+ for commitment and sticking around.
 
This is quite a twisted narrative of what happened. I logged on, and started rummaging thru flags. User immediately started complaining in main that we "never do anything", as well as a few other derogatory comments. I asked what the issue was, and she started complaining about how this person was still here. I replied that as I had been on for approximately 30 seconds- I wasn't sure what she was referring to. When I was told (still had not been thru all of the flags yet), I looked the user up that made the comment. His "last seen" was roughly 10 minutes before I had even logged on, so by the time I got there- he had already been logged off. I did relay this to her, however, she was hearing none of this, and continued then to troll about us not actioning the user, and "allowing this to happen" (which....what? Again- user had already left.....) and then additionally attempting to pull others in to "help". Put up with that for a while before enough was enough. I WILL note that down in the flags (there were a LOT), I did see where she reported the comment. So good on that....but- no action to be taken, as that guest had already gone.

So I did say “guess that person is not getting kicked.” And things along that line but I didn’t call anyone stupid or anything derogatory. By the time you said “that stupid child, that guy was gone before I could kick him” I was already banned from the main chat.

I really don’t see why this was a reason to ban me from the main chat.

In addition, I don’t say “never do anything” cause I do see mods kicking people and I appreciate it. My frustration is men talking about rape in chat. So to be told I’m on thin ice for feeling threatened by rape and then being called stupid is kinda mean. 🤷‍♀️
 
I was trying to alert anyone in power to get that person out of there. So I did say “guess that person is not getting kicked.” Because before you said anything I felt defeated. so I did say things along that line but I didn’t call anyone stupid or say anything derogatory. In addition, I don’t say “never do anything” cause I do see mods kicking people and I appreciate it. Nor did I say be was still there, I wasn’t sure if he was or not. My frustration is men talking about rape in chat. Not with you, but you took it as me wanting to fight you, not the case AT ALL. my final response to this- is that my telling you that you were on thin ice- had absolutely NOTHING to do with what was said to you. Not even a little bit. It had everything to do with your numerous comments regarding staff, and admin.....which I read for quite some time before saying that. That remark absolutely stands. @TheLeigh....I'm done responding to this. She should be all set.
 
I never talked about staff or the admin. What are you talking about?
All I said was things like “where’s the mods?” “Guess that guys not gonna get kicked” and me trying to explain what happened
