That's right folks! - Another Gen chat original contest !! Post pics of your favorite pet, and the winners will take home some cool prizes, and some bragging rights that have never been offered on site before! AND a special surprise. Also id like to thank a cool gen chat (or cat) reg for this contest idea! You know who you are M T

Rules: The pic must be your pet, and a pic you take. Initial it or include with your pic date and time/ card as proof (unless I know its legit)

It can be any kind of pet, but cuteness or something super funny/interesting will get you votes.)

You must register or be registered in the General Chat.

If you are a forums user, but don't use general chat, you can be part of the contest but if you win you must donate your prize to a registered Gen Chat user, there will be a poll with a guest pollmaster/mistress so forums users can vote on the best pets. There will also be a forums solution awarded as an bonus prize 😱

Make sure you don't submit anything with personal info, or capture anything on the pic you don't want to be public.

Good luck to everyone! as the competition will be furrocious🐯 all entries must be submitted before caturday the 7th 2024

Post why your pet is petacular - or have fun commenting on other entries!

edit: you can post 4 pics of your pet, or can post a max of 2 pets. So a goldfin and a dog for example, 2 pics of each max

@TheLeigh and I have a joint pet.

He goes by the name @Finn2.0. He’s very cute, he does as he’s told most of the time, he’s charming, and he’s not that messy. He’s almost toilet trained now. He sleeps on our bed most nights when he’s not malting.

An initialled photograph will be provided when Finn stops running away and making strange screeching noises.

Haha no, not a goat herder. His mom got mastitis after he and his sister were born. She almost died from it. We rushed her to the hospital. Basically she ended up with one working utter and his sister refused to drink from a bottle so we ended up having to leave his sister with his mom and I took him home. I raised him in my home for three or four months. He went to work with us every day, even when had to work at the corporate office lol. The ladies that work in accounting would babysit him when we had to do maintenance around the shops. He spent his weekends playing with my brother's grandkids and my ex's kids. He's very social and gentle in spite of being over 200 pounds now. He's basically a large dog with horns.

I'm not really trying to join the contest, and I frankly don't care if I win or lose. But who can resist a thread like this, showcasing our furry pets? 😍

I have a chihuahua/terrier mix named Flash and an American bulldog/German shepherd mix named Harley. They're both named after comic book characters, because their mom is a total and complete nerd.

Omg I’ve never met anyone else with an American bulldog shepard mix!! They are the best babies ever.

She has calmed down a lot, but she was hell when I first got her. Literally ate all my furniture, I had to get a whole new set. lol I don't recommend getting them as puppies unless you have a lot of time to spend with them during the early years. I adopted her during the pandemic, so that helped.

Your dog is so adorable too, thank you for sharing the picture! Leroy looks like a total sweetheart. 🙂

Mine are named pumpkin and spice... the blkwhit are smokey and bandit.. cuz I'm a redneck...lol.m

Girl sameeee. My boy was a pandemic dog also and for weeks i was like there’s no way this dog is fit for a family, he was really aggressive and tore up everything even the walls. After some training he was perfectly fine, just had to establish his boundaries. This is my mixed boy Scuffy, his mama was pure white American bulldog and his dad was typical shepherd. But we love him so much and his temperament is amazing. View attachment 981050

Hello, Scuffy! What a darling he is. *pets him* He looks almost exactly like my dog Harley...down to the white fur on his chest!

Girl, I thought about giving Harley away during the first year because she was so insane (tearing things up around the house, including the wall). In the end, I'm glad I decided to keep her, I honestly love her so much! "Tough love" though. haha This is a recent picture of her, all grown up:
