well you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink.
The mods and admins deal with them when we see them, and we get them off the site as fast as we can. We don't have the power to keep them from coming in the first place though. We do the best we can with the resources we have

The difference from the previous staff is that there's twice less % humor and mean words in chat, the freaks are still there though.
We are currently in the anti joke dynasty of putting a fresh layer of paint over the molding crumbling wall.
You can add a periodic captcha for guest accounts, that pops every 10 - 15 minutes and if not solved logs them off that solves the botting problem. You can add a new mod function. Instead of just kicking and muting add a function to send an annoying amount of captchas to certain accounts (along side a ghost mute). Freaks aren't patient animals, most aren't and when people log off on their own they aren't likely to log back in. They'll think the site's broken while its just broken for them for a period of time. I call it the DMV strategy, nobody has a good time going to the DMV. Annoying low attention span unstable people is much more effective than just kicking them

It's not our job to make chat "fun" or "humourous". It is our job to keep chat clean and safe. The fun and humour part is your guy's job as long as it follows the rules. The only people at fault for a bland chatroom is the cha tters themselves. Also that captcha idea is interesting, but just like everything else, they would find a way to get around it and adapt. They always do.

It was censored after boys chat admin went on a ban spree and created a site to try to pull people away from here but mirroring chat ave.
I can’t remember his name for the life of me right now. Jiffy or something.
Jiggÿ/Mr.Mod/Nathan to name a few of them.

While the politically correct statement is appreciated.
I’ve seen proof of them coming back multiple times and mods telling me before there’s users with a “history”, so back to my original statement, they should be banned and not kicked. And in one case recently of a 50 year old man sexting a 13 year old, it only received a 9 minute kick…

A big issue i have with Chat Ave currently is the misconception that predator catching is illegal, I’ve heard it from the mods, and yes while pretending to be a minor to communicate to minors is illegal, I’ll challenge any mod to prove that predator catching is illegal as police and many YouTubers do this and never face any lawsuits in regards to this.
When predators in General Chat pop up, it’s defended as “lack of proof” or given loopholes to excuse the actions. Mind you they are knowingly sexting minors, I agree that doxers and creeps need to be banned too but the clear offenders aren’t being dealt with.
The big issue I have heard from law enforcement (my friend works in his state FBI doing this) is that the pedo-baiting hinders law enforcement more than helps. While reporting these creeps is the first and most important step the way it’s done matters. The typical random person does not do this correctly and the information doesn’t hold up in the end. Even if they think they’re just like what they see on tv and *******. Pedo-baiting causes more negative effects than it yields positive.
1. Evidence obtained incorrectly which can’t be used.
2. Might spook the person and they delete everything before LEO MAKES CONTACT.
3. And puts dumb kids who think they’re catching them really at risk of getting doxxed or hacked by these monsters.
The admins and mods spend a great deal of time reporting these users. Sadly, LEO is too understaffed to even look at a fraction of them. So you see them coming back.

As suggested in two separate DMs - you can take your specific issue to CM or Administrator, anytime. Complaints regarding UMs also go to their DMs.

They arent, and i can provide multiple instances of proof that they aren’t but they will not be allowed in the threads as the messages are too graphic for here, and the users are still not banned.

i assure u that @TheLeigh, & her mods work within the best of their abilities to keep the chat clean & safe...
i've seen it for myself, personally, them handle exactly these types of ppl that you claim they don't do anything over 🤷🏼♀️
so i'm thinking you're talkin' about the endless droves of mindless guests which most commonly are the ones posting the most despicable things, & being that they're guests it's very difficult for them to moderate being they're guests...
