dolla here with a new edition of a classic poll, now it's been a few months since these new wonderful mods were hired & so i think enough time has gone by for us to vote / discuss which of the new mods on general chat is;

✨ THE WORSE NEW MOD ✨

a lot of controversy within' the chat about how good of a job theyre doing exactly; some of it valid, & some of it is the spewed nonsense of jaded chattas so there is really no well to tell from that...

but that's what this poll will serve to do, tell us which of the new mods is the worse new mod or all is it all of them??? what say u community??? 🤷🏼‍♀️

this poll isn't anything new, i've made who is the worse mod polls before so no has nothing to do with me breakin' any rules...

& now that general chat has a new batch of mods this is the remixed edition, so instead it's who is the worse new mod; the old ones also ended the choices with all of them as the last option, which i being an unbiased angel always traditionally picked 🤷🏼‍♀️

What were the reasons then? Btw I added you the conversation where Leigh explains (very poorly mind you) why I was banned. It’s laughable how badly she fails to even come up with a valid explanation.and how you keep parroting falsehoods because you’re incapable of critical thinking because you live on this website and treat it like a cult.

Thanks, I already saw that back when it occured. It echoes what I just said, you are banned, for a variety of reasons, all of which you know what they are. She told you whom to contact to escalate it. Pretty straightforward.

She 100% had a valid explanation, you were banned by the owner. That is who, if they decide to engage with you, will share those details with. Just like Mods cannot discuss ban decisions with you, only the Admin, well when the owner bans someone, the Admin leaves that to them.

Bummer, I can't play and vote on this poll! I guess everyone forgot how terrible the room was before we got new mods -- just hours and hours of inappropriate, uncontrollable spam until they came along and helped clean that up. Just saying!

I, for one, appreciate all the work they're doing to clean up General Chat because it was really hard to do when our team was much smaller. That's just my opinion though. I always enjoy reading feedback about the room so bring it!

All of the mods and general chat are good. I don't have a problem with any of them. They're all good. They're not the worst. I vote for all of them being good mods.
So I'm not voting about the who's worse because they're not worse. @TheLeigh always hires the best of the best mods.

Its not so bad for a female administrated place. At least all the mods are friends and hook each other up.

Thank you for existing mods, you're there not all the time, all on at the same time then half the time the room's left to the sharks and are at least probably having nice private chats when you're there.

Look guys don't let perfect be the enemy of barely functioning, sometimes we have to be zen and accept things as they are its the best they can do.

I would prefer to speak not like a politician, alas the gentle sensibilities of most make this a burdensome proposition.

Rules for applying​

Before You Apply, Please Ask Yourself:​

  • Do I take direction well, even if it’s not what I want to hear?
  • Most are a bot, some more than others i have not found original thought, depth, philosophy, rich experiences, i'm getting depressed about the afterlife trying to talk to them. I feel like im in a lovecraftian novel. But following orders yes they follow orders like a soldier being told to shoot everyone and start with the kids. But so does AI so why not just rip the bandaid and put AI on we wont be able to tell its not actually a human.
  • Is my record in General Chat squeaky clean (no infractions)?
  • Almost nobody has a clean record, at some point you have said something spicy unless you're not human so this has to be changed to " Are you (Leigh's) bestie". The rules are so vague and open for interpretation, it makes *******'s rules look honest. Out of the new mods, the only one that fits this is HWA, but she barely says anything, the amount of human sentences with the appropriate depth of someone trying to be human she says per hour makes chat GPT 0.2 alpha sound like a greek philosopher. You can not break the rules if you don't use chat to chat.
  • Am I available to moderate for at least 30 minutes at a time (ideally around 2 hours a day)?
  • Preferably at the same time in practice. The preds have started physically handing pamphlets and gluing advertisements when there are no mods which is half the time on the clock before tea, more consistent than Japanese train schedules. Then the other half theres 10 mods online arguing whether they should kick someone for saying bitch or ****.
  • Can I stay calm and unbothered (having thick skin), even when someone’s clearly trying to “poke the bear”?
  • Definitely not Jose, Irish, IlCapitano the new mods are for the most part holding to the requirements a bit more, like having new staff makes them try to suppress their annoyance and prevents corruption and you need to refresh staff once in awhile. Overall the only people who show maturity consistently when poked at are Leigh and Drock.
  • Do I understand that being a mod means fairness and respect for everyone, even people I might not get along with?
  • Absolutely not. I'll give an example. Irish for example often sees different things than what is written and takes action prematurely, but in her defense she has a rich and dirty imagination and louder voices in her head than me which is impressive. Maybe she mods 30 minutes before her meds kick in in which case i apologize.
The lesson here is even if a burger flipper job requires 20 years experience at 18 and a masters in thermonuclear physics you should still apply because it doesn't matter what's written, but if the boss likes that you're willing to beg to be underpaid and overworked.
