What is great to see is how the vast majority of you girls are reacting to our calls for ignoring certain misgynistic trolls who make pretty average complaint threads.

You all show far more character than any of these fools who want to dominate and feel some sort of power in their very mediocre lives.

The way many of you help us through reports and willingness to listen to us when we make requests of you helps us staff no end.

Thank you to all of you.
 
Can we give a tremendous shoutout to @Enchantress aka Elf Princess from our beloved Girls Chat?! 🥰. She’s an amazing girl who’s beautiful on the inside and out and even though she’s leaving our room she will never be forgotten by me or those she’s touched. I for one feel so happy to have been getting to really know her recently, and I’m gonna look forward to bantering with her more soon enough. So let’s all extend our love for @Enchantress as she’s cast her spell over us 😄😃😃 and group hugs to go round 🤗🤗

Thankyou sweet Lady, Girl Chat was so so much to me for so many years. I started as a chatter then a Moderator in Classic Girl chat and then to work in Modern Girl Chat finally to be Admin is Girl Chat. During my time I have leant many things. The most important is that the ******** make the room what it is. Knowing that the rest is easy. ******** will come if it is safe, fun, and most of all inclusive to all. To do this I surrounded myself with the greatest Moderator Chat Avenue had. People like @Simply Karina (the Princess) sweet @Cogirl, @ZombiUnicornis @Mango! @Jess and many others. I also had a mentor and then a life friend @flame_song.

I will miss Girl Chat more that you can imagine but I have no choice in this discission, so I play the cards I have. I will leave you all with the knowledge at no time have I ever wanted harm to come to any person or to bring the room into disrepute.

People like @DarthErica are a perfect example of the great and sweet people the room attracts when allis well there.

I always believe in the saying "never say never". More so when there is a lot of history and memories between people or places. You will always have a place in Girls Chat, so that seat will always be warm 🙂 I appreciate the kind words very much. I certainly learned a thing or two from you when you were admin, so if you see positives in me then you deserve some credit for sure.

I remember the first time I ever met you, in the spring of 2018. Wide eyed and getting ready to take on the world. Now close to 8 years later, Id still consider you a friend. Ups and downs, what matters most is the finish. So, if this is the finish, then I thank you for being my friend and I truly wish you all the best with life, love, happiness, and whatever else your heart desires.

Though if you should ever consider coming back, rest assured (for better or for worse depending on who you ask 🤣🤣) Im sure Ill still be around for a while 🤪 Please take care of yourself and stay safe!

So to state the obvious...there been some turmoil recently in our room. But we don’t have to let it get the better of us. I’m not happy about recent things, and yea this is a positive thread, but we’re all human beings with complex emotions and feelings. So I just wanna say let’s all keep our chins up and us ******** need to stick together. Cuz we’re the glue that keeps this thing together. Not staff. Us! Don’t forget that and keep making friends and enjoying each other’s company every day 🤗🤗
 
Turmoil as in Admin being a total flog and some mods kissing her freckle ..like ffs at the end of the day it is only chat but some mods think it's real life 🙄🙄 Admin gets butthurt and starts getting rid of mods

I don’t wanna dwell on room politics tbh, I just wanna focus on my friends and all the cool peeps in the room. Things get crazy at times, but they always pass. Keep your chin up and focus on friends. 🙂
 
Allow me to clarify what I said in my prior post about staff not making the room as it’s clear to me that I misspoke. What I was intending to mean was that staff is like 8 or so people, while the room consists of hundreds of people. Staff is kinda like the officials like in sports. When people think of a league like the NFL or the NBA no one thinks of the officials as making the game what it is. So what I’m saying is, as good as our staff is, cuz some rooms hVe so much trouble that ours does not is a reflection on staff. We have a great room because it’s well officiated by staff. But it takes all the great people who make up our room that make it great. Staff calls balls and strikes very well, but the ******** make up the community. However as I’ve said many times before, it takes all of us 🙂. I hope this makes sense
