Life is so short and goes by so quickly. It’s important to take time to appreciate the positive things in your life. The special people, the opportunities you may have, the beauty of nature, the mysteries of the universe. So many incredible things in life. 🙂

Absolutely. I don’t live an exciting life by any means, but I do look forward to the things I do enjoy. Whether it’s chatting with my wonderful friends here, playing video games at night, or delving into some of my interests and hobbies, I try to enjoy things best I can. Like I told someone recently who is in a bad marriage she isn’t happy in, you gotta make yourself happy before you can make anyone else happy. 🙂

Moderators @Irish_lady and @Simply Karina have demonstrated good moderator qualities on this platform. They are always active, helpful, and respectful to the users, but for the other moderators it seems to be less involved in their duties. I rarely see them participate in the forums or address any issues that arise. I'm still wondering if they are still committed to their roles, or maybe need support, or training? And please don't get mad, I want to choose these people for a reason. I even think they need a more promotion or something that acknowledges their achievements? Actually, change my mind. You don't need to have promotion. Maybe just doing good to the community and that would be enough.

In their defense, my no life self just checks forums 5-6 times a day 😂 The whole team tries, which is all that can be asked of anyway whether they be a chatter or staff.

I can say yes everyone is committed to their and being there to help when they are able. As far as training and such goes, I believe we all learn from one another. Vets like myself can still learn new things every day, new approaches to situations, and you never know when a better solution can come about. As I already said though, we are all trying our best 🙂

Agreed. Please stay on topic if you have a complaint post in proper threads or head to EE. Off topic/troll posts/complaints will be deleted or moved. Thread creator wants a place for some positivity- it shall be so.👍

You’ve always been a beacon of positivity in the room. You and all my friends always brighten my day. Even when we’re all being brats. 😂😂

As some may know I recently stepped down from being a mod. Could I have posted more in the public forum? possibly. What you don't see is all the posts mods like myself (and others make) away from public eyes. I have made numerous posts on here discussing issues relating to GC and requesting action etc. There is a whole lot that people do not see related to room issues in GC that we communicate about. Most of my 230 odd posts on here have not been in the public forum 😀

Some mods like Karina are simply better at interacting with people, and can happily chat and mod at the same time with aplomb.
I was a lot less vocal as a mod, (I'm naturally more introverted). And there are some ******** that prefer this style of modding too. I was someone who needed to focus in my way. We all have our own style and preferences. I think having a mix is important. I know I put many hours in too until it was getting to the point where my need to focus on other things meant I couldn't do that effectively.

I didn’t see you that often but when I did you always seemed cool. Despite of how I can be pretty outgoing I’m actually pretty much an introvert. I get overwhelmed easily when there are many ******** to respond to and that’s when I usually go into my shell. It’s hard for me to keep up at times. So I understand where you’re coming from and just know you’re not alone in things and the way you feel. 🙂
