General day to day.

What actually grinds your gears in the workplace and general life? You don’t need to specify your job because security obvs, could be something you’ve witnessed or personally experience an “are you for FUKkiN real?” moment.

Do you colleagues bug you?
Do slow walkers annoy you?
Maybe diamond thieves?

Gripe hear. Create the hate.

I have 2 rules:

1) forum users must not currently poo on floors.
2) calling a colleague a c word is not edited.

You know what really pisses me off these days? How every fucking supermarket hires a security guard to prevent theft. But every single one of them follows around the lowlives as they pile booze into their backpacks and then walks after them as they leg it to the door. If you question them, they tell us they're not allowed to get involved. WTF? Fucking pay me to literally do nothing.
 
in the 13 - 23 years ive been living this current cycle,

ive known two ppl both of which very dear to me, that has committed suicide in some fashion…

…one of which recently died just shy of a fortnight ago…

so nothing beats my eggs more than when someone uses suicide to garner attention, or gaslight someone into feelin’ guilty for’em 💀
 
The jerks in government who despite ample of warning, and proofs, decided to spray everywhere to combat a moth thats cyclical AND there bye killing god knows how many other butterflies etc that are not harmful at all.

Not harmful to the environment you say? Tell you what, fill up a glass and drink it and then tell me.

They dont spray around here..but they do have to stop people from taking caterpillars.
 
My biggest gripe as a Government Employee is those folks trying to rort the system by pretending they are far worse than they actually are to garner more funding.

Bitch I wasnt born yesterday and you can work 3 times per week as a DJ you can cook your own food IMO (rant over).

My biggest gripe in Chat Ave is the amount of ignorant folks ranting on about transgender, gay, black, white, educated blah blah blah and bloody Trump!

idk if anyone else feels this, but I dont wanna be greeted by someone who acts like they've been sniffing nose cady in the back all morning. It's infuriating especially if it's an already shìt day, AND that it's just a fake front to seem like they are happy... grr

Even worse is since I kinda need a job now, I've been taking customer service courses and now I'm gonna have to be this prick.

Lazy delivery people, IE Fed Ex, UPS, USPS, leaving crap at the end of my road instead of at my house like I paid for in the shipping charges !

Politicians will always do what greases the pockets first, Always have, Always will.
 
I hate how some have the same title but don’t put forth the same efforts, they usually get paid more as well.
Then there is that one person that needs reminded of their pay grade, and to stay in their lane on being the boss.
Even better, the public thinking they are the only people that matter and they are the only people who needs “helped”.
People who park in the handicap spots who can obviously walk… or people who can’t park in just one spot.
I think maybe I just hate people in general 🤷‍♀️

I work at a retail environment centered around toys and children so this is ESPECIALLY important in my line of work. I often sob in the backroom because I too am human and have trouble being the perfect me but still want to do well and "reach" the guests..

And if the attitude you put into the work IS genuine, thats no issue at all, its actually quite refreshing to see. And unless I've read this wrong, it seems you are genuinely trying to be kind, rather than forcing it when you really don't want to

when the people who are supposed to be in charge and making MUCH more than me cant come up with the fairly obvious solution to a simple problem ..I told the higher up "okay guys ..I'm not supposed to be the smart one and you actually should be fucking terrified that i am !!! you all need to start rethinking your education right now!!!! it was sooooo worth the write up and getting sent home 😀

What has really irritated me in real life is the private sector and the job market. Companies are demanding experience, that you speak 10 different languages, that you have a PhD, that you have a doctorate, that you know how to code all the stars in the universe, but they pay you an increasingly ridiculous salary that is consumed by inflation.
Oh, and you have to be a health queen, you can't get sick. And you still have to hear from your boss: work sick and still be grateful, because you have a job.
Work with a bornout, in a toxic company and with moral harassment, but be grateful for it, because there are millions behind you who want your job. 🤡

⚙️ When someone talks to you about another person who isn’t present for the conversation. ⚙️
1. It serves no good reason and generally inflames the problem when other people are around.
2. The only person that needs to hear the problem is THE PERSON THEY’RE TALKING ABOUT. If that person never hears the problem, nothing gets fixed.
3. You know that because said person is acting in that way, that they’ll do the same thing about you with someone else at some point in time, given long enough.

End rant.
 
People who:

  • Walk up mountains wearing wholly inadequate clothing and footwear and end up calling out the MRT to get them down safely. Learn the basics, and don't put your family's life at risk you cretins.
  • Walk up mountains attempting to navigate with g00gle maps and end up calling out the MRT to get them down safely. Get a map and compass morons.
  • Walk up mountains carrying lunch and something to eat at the top, then chuck their fruit peel, empty sandwich wrappers, empty drink cans/cartons/bottles and sundry other shite at the top. It weighs a lot less than when you carried it up and you've got plenty of room in your rucksack for it and gravity is on your side on the way down you fucking slobs. I actually shouted at a couple this weekend for attempting to do this very thing.
  • Sit on the summits of mountains playing loud music. It's the countryside you inconsiderate fuds, it's supposed to be quiet.
  • Kick stones/toss rocks off the edge of crags when I'm underneath on holds that aren't much more than bumps on the surface of the rock climbing up. Fuckwits.
  • Men who try to mansplain climbing wall routes and methods to me when I'm a much much more experienced and competent climber than they're ever likely to be. Fuds.

I have no problems with the vast majority of hillwalkers that are well prepared, know how to navigate, carry their rubbish out and dispose of it thoughtfully, and act responsibly. It's the tiny minority of morons that don't that are the issue.

Actual rock climbing tends to attract people who want to succeed at it. There's a wee bit of a climbing community in Scotland and although it can be competitive people are pretty helpful too. Climbing walls are mostly where you find the wannabees, they're never quite a part of the whole vibe and aren't actually anywhere near as good as they think they are. That's where you'll find the annoying mansplainers.

There's a general rule in climbing which is "don't spray beta" meaning don't offer advice unless it's asked for. We like to solve problems ourselves, it's all part of the fun and challenge.
