Guest Account Ban Query

If someone else's guest account is banned for spam, is this ban temporary for a few days (IP address ban)? Nothing bad was said but I understand how it could've been misinterpreted.

aka you got banned and are too embarrassed/possibly scared, to say so.

User history is a matter between the staff and the user. If the query is about you and you want to appeal a ban, feel free to give your details.

I'm moving this from @HarryPotter19 's thread as it's not related. I'm putting it in EE for now but if you have a real ban appeal, feel free to respond to this and I'll move it to the appropriate forum.
