Thumper71 seems to be getting harassment from multiple people within this room and it is making it an uncomfortable environment for other users. Users continue to gang up on him and demand various things which I am not going to mention. Chat is constantly being interrupted and it's all focused on accusatory language from users.

To whoever reads this thank-you and please can you focus more on user safety for all as opposed to the minority with complaints.
 
Mod abuse happens. It comes with the territory and it’s not going to stop anytime soon. That’s the unfortunate truth of the matter. We’ve all had to deal with it.

Your best course of action is to report the offending comments so they can be dealt with by the mods. If it’s continuous and disruptive abuse, it’s down to the mods to take it to the admin for further action.

It should also be noted that most, if not all room, have a rule against mod abuse if it’s excessive. Meaning it might help to remind the mod in question that they can take action against the abusers.
 
I have taken action against them and warned, muted, kicked them to the max. Gone to my Admin with screen shots. This is a daily occurance, It's not just one chatter, it's a gang of them, once one starts, they all jump in like sharks in a feeding frenzy. I don't know what else to do other than continue to take ss's and take them to my Admin and hope something gets done. Problem is they are all VIP's and think they can get away with doing this.
I can handle getting picked on by one or two, but when it's 4-7 at once, it gets tough to control the room and I can't mod at that point. It ALWAYS happens when I am alone too. So the room is disrupted and other ******** can't even chat.

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. Just keep max kicking them all. That will give you at least 2 hours of peace. They are violating multiple rules (mod abuse, room disruption) and also have a history of it, so you are well within your rights to do that.
Obviously check with flame_song to make sure they are in alignment. Hang in there 💪🏻

General rule of thumb in most cases, getting feedback like that means youre doing your job. For whatever its worth, the things Ive seen from you on here are positive. So remember, there are people on your side as well 🙂
 
They redid our room so now we can give gifts, so now these idiots who harass me are sending me clowns and poison potions. If that's not harassment, I don't know what is. THIS NEEDS TO STOP!!!

They are just trying to irritate you any way they can. I know it’s hard but just ignore their lame attempts and focus on modding the room and having fun. The thing people like that hate the most is to be ignored. If you show them they can’t rattle you, they will eventually give up and move on.
If you need to vent or share your feelings that you don’t want them to see, there’s always the moderator forum section that is private.

Simply Karina ty for your support as well. It means a lot to have fellow mods on my side. These VIP's think they are untouchable. Therefore they start issues as soon s I come in the room, from the early morning til late at night. All I have to do is go in to mod, and I get attacked before I can even start to mod. Therefore other ******** cannot chat safely or comfortably bc chat is disrupted by them every single day ALL day long.​

 
It does sound like they're trying to wear you down. The best thing to do is not to rise to their nonsense but to do your job as calmly as you can, following your room's mod guidelines and keeping plenty of screenshots of the attempted provocation. Think of them as trolls - don't feed the trolls!

The best way to deal with idiots like that is to show it doesn’t bother you. Get on with things as usual, pretend they don’t exist, and eventually they’ll get bored.

I know you said you’ve informed your admin already, but I’m gonna tag @flame_song so she can see this thread.
 
ty all for your support. I try to get on and mod, bbut I cant see the room TO mod bc of all their clutter, which is the problem and other ******** complain that they can't chat freely bc of all the disruption to chat. They can only chat after i kick but even that causes them to increase their attacks about why was she kicked? Which ofc I never answer.

I have been tasked to look into the matter. Screen shots have been sent from both sides of this situation for Flame Song to review as she said divide and conquer, and I have been working with Thumper71 regarding some of his mutes thats causing the problem with the others. The problem should be resolved soon.
 
You make it sound like it ALL MY fault and it's NOT. I come in and dont say a single word to them and they attack. I told u this. NOONE listens to me when I tell them this. WHY don't you listen to me? is it bc you are friends with them? I sent ss's 20TigressGRR sent ss's from me JUST walking in and being attacked and yet you blame ME for a few mutes????

The thing is various users in chat without mentioning usernames attack Thumper71 even when he isn't present and this has got to STOP!!! Ss have been taken and I am going to continue doing this. I am aware that various people no longer see the point of coming in here with all the sniping and comments about a mod who from my point of view is only trying to do their job and trying to ensure chat remains clean.
 
I really don't know why everyone can't just get along. If there is harassment going on it should be dealt with according to the rules, ie mute kicks there really can't be any complaints, if the rules are followed no problem, if they are broken then there is consequences
 
Having been in chat tonight I have to say Thumper is being targetted by a clique.
By the time I logged in there had already been some kicks and the channel had a multiple demand the kicks are reversed.

There were also screenshots posted of the kick reasons and IMHO they were valid reasons to kick a user.
It seems to me that a small group dislike Thumper and go out their way to bitch and moan until they get kicked.....then have friends bitch and moan about the kick.

I've always known Thumper to be an effective and fair mod so I dunno what has got folks knickers in a twist but they need to grow the fudge up and let Thumper do his job.

Exactly and the amount of abuse Thumper gets is ridiculous. It's as if they are all throwing their toys out the pram.

Childish behaviour from people that are supposed to grown adults or the age group the room was intended for. 17+ yet they get upset over personal disputes with mods.
