Hey everyone,

It’s Emrys!

Some of you might remember me from years back. I’ve been a part of this community for a long time, and I’m happy to share that I’ve officially stepped back into a moderator role for VGC.

While I’m excited to help out behind the scenes again, my main reason for making this post is pretty simple: I really just want to connect with people and make some good friends here.

Outside of modding, I'm pretty low-key. I'm usually found unwinding with a warm cup of tea, getting lost in fantasy and horror stories, spending time outdoors, or working on creative writing projects. Overall, I just enjoy grounded, open conversations about good stories, creative ideas, or whatever is happening in daily life.

I’d love to reconnect with familiar faces and say hello to everyone who has joined more recently. Drop a reply and say hi! What have you been reading, working on, or enjoying lately?

'Bout time you showed back up 🙄

It's been a bit since I cracked open a book, but I read The Girl with all the Gifts and The Boy on the Bridge most recently. More on the science fiction side of horror than the fantasy side, but I would highly recommend them!

HEY! Listen I had things and stuffs to do! Also those sound great! I recently read The Terror. It's really good. It's a horror novel about the Franklin expedition.
