I read CARNIVORES at the hospital and almost finished Cycle of the Werewolf as well (I finished it when I came home). CARNIVORES was pretty damn good for a debut novella. It's what I was hoping it would be (suave businessmen with a hunger for human flesh). So instead I'm going to read two novellas instead. "Cycle of the Werewolf" by Stephen King, and an extreme horror book called "CARNIVORE" (yes it's in all caps) by someone who goes by K.L. Allister.
Cycle of the Werewolf was pretty good too. It was of the quality I would expect from a King book. It had a chapter for every month of the year and cool artwork as well. This piece was particularly interesting:
Now I'm reading NOS4A2 by Joe Hill as well as The Book Thief. I haven't read that much of the former, but I read a decent amount of The Book Thief today. It took me a bit to get into it, but now it's getting more interesting.
Yes, I know it's not a Horror or Thriller book, but this is my thread, so yeah. Who said the Holocaust wasn't spooky anyway, right?
