How do bans work?

So, where do i start I have been using this site for a long time and have loved this place for a long time. I have met many friends front his site as well. Me and my friend left to go get food to find out we are banned.
So I am new to posting, I some how got banned, Me and my friend were both using the same ip address(me on my computer and him on his laptop) I was not aware that this was against the rules. Is it in anyway possible to get it reversed as well as What is the duration of this ban? Is it permanent? Can someone tell me?

normally a ban is permanent
but the room admin should be commenting soon and you can discuss it with her
or send Kim a pm
 
was it classic or modern? what is ur username, all that would help, Kim will need to know that and you will find that Kim is a very reasonable Admin
 
So, I think it was in classic. It uses the flash media which, I think is gonna close after this year which saddens me greatly. I don't have an actual like login account name. I never did that. Frankly I didn't know you could. I think my name was ! Ripped Ddy, ! Ripped Jungle Guy. (It was always sensational names like that) Otherwise I would sometimes sit for sometimes actual hours alone before someone who was frankly real to have an actual conversation with. I have a myriad of names. A lot of people didn't believe what I look like so I was always on cam. And just clarify my computer for some reason allows 2 profiles to be on at once so I have done that in the past as well. (Every few months I would get an hour ban but i thought it was like a regular thing and only lasted an hour so I didn't question it. As well as I never knew why) I got a computer built for me to stream on twitch. But I think it's because I have a graphics card and a regular card in it. It makes me so SAD because I started off in TEEN CHAT almost 13 (28 now) years ago when they only used to have like maybe 200 people on it and everyone was fun before trolls and all this stuff now. I will Never forget those fond memories. This place is like a community of ALL different types of people who would come to talk, It didn't matter if you were normal or not.
This place is like my FAMILY. This was a place to call my HOME.
 
Hi it was myself that gave you a 3 day ban for breaking the 2 users rule....I did pm your both ip addys warning you to log out 1 of the accounts and both your ip addys you were using ignored my warning. I have s/s proof if required.

Don't double log simple. And also you said it was your "friend" using the same IP and then you said it was you. Truth is always best.
