No straights didnt indoctrinate kids to be straight there was literally no reason to. Just like there is no reason to indoctrinate kids to be gay. The parents and siblings may have tried to force it but not the state and that's the problem I have. Society has come a long way and has become very tolerant of homosexuality instead of leaving it at that the different civil rights groups keep pushing for things that are detrimental to society. It's the problem with wokeness.

Drag queen storytime is part of the gay agenda where they read to children about sexuality and how being gay is great and kids should be gay.
In the UK the state did. Kids weren’t allowed to be gay, it was banned from being discussed in schools. Effectively being gay was a no/no. Was even illegal to have sex with the same sex until relatively recently (60s I think)
Dunno about the US or other countries but I expect it was similar.
