So, I dunno what the deal is, but ya know how when you lay flat on the floor, you know you are on the ground.. like; if you fell asleep on the floor you would roll around and be like no problem not gonna fall, cause Iam on the floor.
And when you sleep on a bed, you are like cool I'm on a bed, not laying on the floor like an oaf, all cozy, and I'm off the ground.
Now the third, you have a mattress on the ground that you sleep on, and it is sort of comfy but not really, and yet, you can still feel the difference in elevation as you lay on the mattress, you know you are not on a proper bed with a box spring for the mattress to be on, you are just on the stupid floor.
So what is the deal?
why is it so easy to tell the difference if you were just to close your eyes and lay on your back, you can tell you are either on ground level/the floor, on a mattress on the floor, or on a proper bed with box spring and mattress.
There is probably a scientific name for it, and bonus points if anyone knows what that name or term is.
