How many kicks till enough is enough?

We have all be reporting, screenshotting, and complaining about the user Ebola in vgc and yet all that gets done is a temporary kick despite the numerous racist comments we have all tried to bring to the attention of who needs to see it. And yet he continues to get kicked however a random guest account gets banned. How many times will you kick a person and allow them to return to spout the same hate speech against poc users in chat and wishing harm and death on them and their families. We can ignore him sure but you can't expect an entire chat to ignore one person and any new members to do the same. Stop dancing around the bush and just ban them already so we can enjoy chat and new member aren't put off from staying. It just makes chat look bad and makes staff look like they dont care, or play favorites.


Edit: this is not directed to the mods they do all they can with this user.

Agreed. I understand this site allows the typical hate speech and has no qualms with racism and antisemitism, but maybe someone whos constantly advocating for the burning of children and flooding the room with constant hateful rhetoric should be considered more than a mild nuissance. Thats the kind of user that kills chats and I can see VGC going the way of CC before long if all the hateful pieces of **** are allowed to spread their hate without consequence.
 
The first kick should have been the only kick followed by a ban. At this point its just a bandaid on a gunshot wound that is being blatantly ignored for lord knows why.
 
I agree completely. I also pointed out to someone and I want to elaborate it here too, that continuing to allow someone to come back over and over again amd say such hateful things with only a slap on the wrist only shows that it's ok for others to come back and say the exact same thing. They can come back and be racist, homophobic, sexist or what have you because they see that nothing bad happens when they do. So now we have vgc that just explodes in a hateful fit because a few bad apples decided to start a train of just awful rhetoric because nobody does anything about it. I'm all for a space to discuss opinions on politics, race, religion etc. But that isn't what is happening here not in the slightest. Do something about it.

Omg yes I have so many screenshots of this stuff its disgusting 😤 he intentionally bought vip so that he could share racist photos and made it clear he didn't care if it was a waste of money.

No, it doesn’t. I personally kick racists and bigots every single day. I will let Apollo address this particular users situation but please don’t paint with such a wide brush. Additionally, we are all aware that even banned users can circumvent a ban. It’s up to the mods/admins to stay on top of those cases and re-ban them when they reappear.
This guy sounds horrible and I hope he’s removed soon. 🥾

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case with this person. I understand VPNs are a thing and a ban isn't entirely permanent. But it's a lot more difficult to come back from than a simple kick or mute. He was kicked this morning when i made the OP and now he's back with the same comments and it will just continue if nothing is addressed

Perhaps not but those with VIPs are treated differently and they do get away with things which should be called out.
When you make comment on these type of things it is like you are not doing so to protect your mods but covering your ass.
 
The only one that can ban this user is CM.. so maybe send your proof to him directly? As I am doing the same. However I can’t dictate when CM logs in or doesn’t…. He will decide whenever he wants whether you like it or not. For now the user will be removed if staff is on, use your block function.. screenshot and send to CM.
