I try the free edition Proton VPN on my android phone and site was block like if I was using Tor browser.

As far as I know, the VIP perk applies to inside the chat, the cloudfare still might affect things-

I get the same Trenton. My guess is that part doesn't apply in the 13+ rooms or maybe just Gen Chat) or the IP itself is blocked by the site for some reason.

Ill bring it up with Site Admin because it is a listed VIP perk.

I preferred the old version of that page which said something along the lines of “ **** off “

It’s an IP ban. The IP you’re using has been banned from the site for doing bad things. That’s the risk you take with using an IP address that millions of other people use.

I can’t imagine the site removing the IP bans from all of those because they’d be opening the flood gates to all sorts of bad people.

Try a different VPN. The free ones are most likely to have been used by unsavoury characters and therefore have the IPs banned

I’m not sure which VPNs are best but perhaps @H.R. PufnStuf can confirm, as he said he was talking to side admin about your issue

Edit: You could also post a question in General Chat to ask which VPNs people use there
