Inkandtatts’ Inner Thoughts (Random Comments #715)

So has every other minister that's resigned over a scandal. Far more numerous in the Tories than in Labour too.
What she did was what 98% of the population do. Didn't follow the little disclaimer usually in small print that says "we're lawyers, not tax advisors".

The other 2% see a tax advisor to dodge paying SDLT. If they have a barn on their property, or anything that could even remotely be interpreted as being potentially for commercial use, they get a clever tax advisor to draft the wording so they can describe the property as mixed use and then reduce the SDLT.

If she really wanted to do something to save the £, she could have had her son's trust converted or she could have just paid the £40k extra on top of the £30k she did pay then tweak the trust within 3 years of buying the flat and claim back the £40k.

Massive public spectacle over nothing. I hope that someone has the time and inclination to go digging into all politicians' SDLT/LTT payments.

they’re all c words.

Liebour especially. The frontline staff see the lies they feed the nation. 👋

😂 paedophile asylum protectors.

Have you not seen the protests in Epping?
I've read about them, and the idiots flying flags and painting roundabouts. Same people lured in by the same moronic sentiments by educated people that should know better but want a world under some sort of fascist control.

How about instead of making refugees scapegoats, we process them, remove the economic migrants and known offenders, protect the rest, and in the meantime get on with recovering the billions of pounds of tax that's currently being avoided by the small minority that hold most of the assets and money that far outweighs anything the migrants will get from the state and taxpayer. You can include the royal family in that one too.

We are processing them. The UK government have now made a deal with France that they can claim asylum from outside the UK because of the UK’s ties with the ECHR which we should no longer be part of since idiots voted for Brexit. (Yes I’m aware my fancyman initiated this movement- no way I’m condoning his actions either.)

GP’s are ‘encouraged’ to not provide medical notes for people with TB/Scabies so they can be progressed to interview to reduce the backlog of asylum claims. This in turn puts everybody in my building at risk due to this bollocks rule but we are to isolate still if we have coronabollocks symptoms- you couldn’t make it up.

No safeguarding. No prevention of it spreading.

And I’m fighting against the government to remove them that’s why the whole system is in uproar because the PM keeps citing the ECHR but fails to take into consideration of the ECHR when it comes to young girls being gang raped by these rats that quite frankly need a bullet through their forehead execution style.

Tensions are boiling as it is- and there will no doubt be further riots. I do not blame the vast majority who have had enough.

The Government lied about the Ethiopian Nonce. Angela Rayner lied about her tax scandals.

It is no wonder they are hated.

Again, I do not condone corruption by anyone in any party. I also have no reason to lie to anyone but I would implore people to not be so quick to judge because I am one who does work in this line of corruption and we are being quashed at every step with “human rights” - if you rape someone, f*ck your rights.

And yes they do get iPads and latest phones to maintain their availability to be contacted and over 50,000 of them are absconders. Walking around the streets infected.

I deplore paedophiles of any race creed or religion and it’s why I’m so hellbent on not giving up the fight against them.
The same as the enablers on here get the same resentment.

Maybe put down that ultrabroad brush you're wielding and focus on the few that commit horrendous crimes rather than the whole.

If the government and the people you are working for are putting your health at risk then you should be tackling that through your employers and the unions that represent you. Maybe protect yourselves by using masks and gloves in the interim. You can't blame the people that carry the illness for carrying it and we should be treating it as necessary. Also 50,000 absconders all with TB? Come on, you don't actually believe that for one moment. You're better than this.

Loss of the EHCR would be catastrophic for the people that really need it. I'll remind you that it's been in place since 1950 and was partly instituted by, among other Churchill. It predates the EU in its various incarnations and has nothing to do with the Brexit shambles either. It's there, as the name suggests, to protect the human rights of those who need protecting the most which is why the wealthy few really want to see the back of it so that they can get on with making more money at the expense of the people that make it for them.

Luka, give your head a serious wobble, you're better than this.

The government is my employer hence why we’re all voicing our concerns and they are being silenced. The same as the unions.

I don’t want to see the back of the ECHR because I didn’t vote for Brexit. I am all for people being protected, but stop protecting the ones who are the criminals. And sadly like most things, the tar brush smites them all for the actions of just one person. That I don’t agree with. You cannot have one rule for one and different for another - that’s my whole point.

I’ll rephrase the 50,000 absconder thing because I can see how that is written incorrectly. Not all absconders are infected, but many of them have claimed on their screening interviews they are infected and we cannot ascertain the truth from a simple uploaded form. Manston are useless because they do not refer to safeguarding or refer potential victims of modern slavery/trafficking (PVOT/PVOMS) which then falls on the staff who try and push their claims through to reduce genuine asylum seekers’ distress, with a barrier because those safeguarding referrals are mandatory, because 70% (figure uncertain, based on the claims I’ve done this week only) cite suicidal thoughts, mental health/stress which of course are instant referrals.

I am not saying they’re not genuine. The amount of asylum claims stating “land disputes” or “ I cannot repay loan sharks and I fear I will be killed” is insane.

Again, not all are false. But specifically my role is to weed out the ones who are - hence my fury at the ones who make it 10x harder for others.

I do not know why that cannot be seen in my previous post(s). Although if I’ve contradicted myself, happy to explain if I have. I’m all for a back and forth debate in the hopes of enabling people to see what I see daily.

It might not have been seen because of the tone and sheer aggression in the previous posts, just saying.

The EHCR has nothing whatsoever to do with EU membership or Brexit. It predates that and is intended to protect the vital rights of people against exploitation by Governments and others. The conflation of Brexit and EHCR was deliberately introduced to muddy the waters and to attempt to gain momentum for withdrawal. That would be a Very Bad Thing indeed. If you think your employers and the government are trying to abuse your rights now, then you really don't want that movement to gain ground at all.

There will always be people looking for economic advantage with any refugee/asylum claim system. That's why they have to be run fairly but firmly and I understand that. There should be clear guidelines on whether someone qualifies for asylum or not and believe it or not, the EHCR is a good starting point for that.

There are always people that will abuse a system for personal advantage and that's why people like you do the job you do. Fury is not the answer though. It's self destructive and detrimental to fair outcomes and yes, I understand frustration but professionalism should always be the driving quality.

Of course I realise you're using the forums to rant to get it off your chest because you have few other avenues to employ, all I'm saying is remember your core values and keep the heid min. 🙂

so much typing.

i dont like angela raynor, but her tax evasion was very minor, insiginificant in the scheme of things.

BTW, people, ---- english phrase - 'more power to your elbow'.
Peace out
