ip banned then unbanned

hi i was banned as a guest in gay chat a couple days ago and was told my ip address was sent to the authorities, but i didn’t do anything illegal? then i checked again the day after and was able to join the chat again, id just like to know if my address was sent to the authorities thanks. i also checked again today and im still able to enter the chat so im guessing my IP isn’t banned?? id just like confirmation haha thanks

The message is there for safety reasons. If you’ve done nothing wrong then you will be fine.

Your ban might have been a glitch or an error that has been reversed.

Hmmm

I don’t remember whether you were reported or not. If it was a ban from me and if it was what I suspect it was based on your username there’d have been a few choice words in the ban screen under the word “reason” - if those were there then yes it’s likely you were reported.
 
okay. if it’s likely that i was reported why am i unbanned? just confused about this

The IP you were on at the time is almost certainly still banned.

I don’t know now what you were chatting about or what triggered the ban. We have 800-1000 people in the room most of the time and many guests get banned so I don’t keep records for longer than a day at most when it comes to guests.

As I said, take the words under “reason” as a guide as to whether you may have been reported or not.
