Is Doxxing Not A Bannable Offense? (VGC Room Issue)

The issue here is that the admin, @Johnny isnt doing anything about repeated doxxing by a chatter named bread. He focuses on posting RL pictures of soup but he has threatened to doxx others before. Many other ******** want to bring this issue to light and could vouch for me as long as this thread doesn’t get locked quickly, which seems to be common here.

I’ve heard a “rumor” that CM told @Johnny to “ban lightly” on people who have VIP accounts. It’s a “rumor” that circles here but apparently the staff says it’s not true, although practice seems to prove more than just word of mouth.

So the main question is, is doxxing people really just another kickable offense? Even for repeated offenses? Other questions: Is @Johnny just “following orders” of the whole “ban lightly on those with VIP accounts”? Is it *really* just a rumor?

Can we get a thorough response in both text and actions this time instead of @Johnny being typical and saying “This is being worked on, please close this thread.” This has been brought up multiple times and clearly hasn’t solved much. But I mean it’s chat ave so i’m not expecting much, either.

Yeah i am getting sick of nothing happening to anyone ever tbh, there are people breaking rules all day everyday and they only get warnings, i think today was one of the only times they got kicked for two hours for doxxing

Not to mention the all out chat wars that happen and johnny is over there in a field somwhere warning an sc bot not to post socials

@Johnny r u gonna ban the guy that just spammed the gifs of the dog being beaten to death or do you think just a kick will suffice?
 
I understand the cruelty of the images that were posted and action was taken on that user. But the actions I take on these users, like I said its none of your business.

Secondly I do take action against doxing, with that being said what I do is none of your business again.

That’s the whole point of the thread though. It is our business when it puts our personal information at risk and repeat offenders are getting kicks for a few hours instead of lengthy bans.

Can you answer any of the questions asked? Is it a kickable offense or is it bannable?

No the discussion isn't over, i talked to you in pm and let you know this guy was abusing a glitch and i wanted something done because i did not wanna see what this guy was gonna post, he posts pictures and gifs far worse in cc all the time, you had every chance to stop this and then after the fact, every chance to make it right but you failed, I don't care what you think you can do johnny but i know for a fact if i did that **** in any other room even adult chat i would be banned, hell i have even seen people banned for little drops of blood (me included) so why in vgc (a 13+ room) is posting a picture of a defenseless animal being beaten to death ok to you?

It is our business, most of us spent money for vip and expect the rules of the room to be followed. "Doxing users in chat is not tolerated under any circumstances." Sure makes it sound like it would be taken seriously, yet I've seen him spam another users picture on two separate occasions in the last month. Many more before that.

Doxxing is an offense which I’m highly against. It is our job as staff to make users feel safe.. it is really the only job we have. I’ve banned bread about 3 times (and many times on forums) - he doesn’t learn. It’s weird that a 40 year old man is behaving like a 16 year old boy posting personal user pictures on main chat. He should be banned permanently.

The best thing I can suggest is sending a private message to chatmaster about every offense Bread does so he is finally rebanned. (the more people that send the better) 😉
