Is it customary to ban/kick someone with some vague general one-word reason?

I'm not saying I'm perfect. Nor am I saying that my profile might not rub a few people the wrong way. I get it, you don't like me or what I like. Cool. I'll be sure to cry over it later. I also get that the moderators and admins have a job to do and don't have time for bullshit from people causing problems. However, I am kinda upset over not being given a legitimate reason for being banned/kicked. Yes, I've been kicked before, and I got some one-word, vague "reason" for being kicked. So, I did what normal people do when not given an actual answer, I assumed one of us pissed off the other somehow, then I ignored it and then I moved on. I didn't even know I could actually complain or write the mod/admin or do anything about it until this latest incident. "Water under the bridge" as they say.

But I do believe there should be a semi-detailed reason for being banned. Maybe an actual sentence? I mean... that screen doesn't even tell you who banned you. It's just "reason you were kicked..." If you're going to have that much power over someone, you should at least use it wisely, possibly be considerate, and at least do some sort of investigation into the matter before you ban someone. Maybe? And that screen should also tell you who banned you as well. I had to go ask a VIP member from another room what I could do about being banned. He pointed me here. And I'm not saying I need a paragraph explaining my "atrocious" behavior. But I think something more than one or two words would be better. The reason for my permanent ban... "Soliciting". And come to find out... it was what I had written in my profile, not what I was saying in the room. To which I questioned @RustyNail about and was given "I don't like your profile or your name" and... "you've been warned (you mean... by kicking me out with a one-word reason that mentioned nothing about my profile?) and kicked before. Hell... he even told me that I got kicked out before by @Summer X, but I can't even find her in the list of admins/mods (maybe I'm not looking in the right place? IDK) for reason of "ped"?? Umm... thanks for judging me based off my profile and not actual evidence. I'm hoping you're kicking those kids out of the Adult/Sex rooms too. And to top it off... he continued his statement to me with "...and you didn't change it". Well, how about saying something like "Look dude, change your profile. It's upsetting me. Or I'll ban you". Maybe that would have worked? Who knows!? He hasn't even told me the other reasons he kicked me. I'm betting those were all one-word reasons too. But if it had been an actual sentence, telling me my profile was offensive, then I would have changed it. Like I told him, I'm not unreasonable, and I've tried to be nice and polite to admins/mods (and well... to everyone else). Oh... and no second chance either, because well... I still don't like you or your name.

I get it... there are rules to follow. And I, like everyone else, don't read the rules. And now, I'm permanently banned. Because of one-word reasons and a clash of personalities. So, no need to help people be better, just ban them all so you don't have to see them. That seems fair.

And I'm not exactly sure about the protocol for such a thread. I don't know if the other admins/mods are copied or will see this. I certainly am not trying to piss anyone off. So, I apologize if you (admins/mods) are getting this multiple times or whatever. But I really think this should be something we could all learn from. I'm not asking @RustyNail to unban me (although, I would be thankful for it AND i would make the appropriate changes), obviously he refuses to give me a second chance because of "reasons". But I do hope that someone will get something out of this.

Thank you.

@Kim @NorCal @xStoned @Lex Luthor @Chopper @H.R. PufnStuf @Enchantress @AA Sanz @flame_song @Chatmaster @Coyo @RustyNail @Kristi @Annie @Ness_eb @Johnny

And also, whoever @Summer X is. My apologies, especially to you, for dragging you into this when I have no real evidence you did anything to me.

In my humble opinion a one word answer for a users removal is better than nothing at least it explains what you were removed for. In Boys Chat there is a mod called sebby that removes me instantly without a reason and then in return I spam methods to get around a mod kick and stay undetected or a room ban for an hour non stop in simple basic terms for anyone to use, thus weakening the moderators role and revealing to the whole room the true value of the role of moderator to be zero. The room administrator whether its norcal or ***** are by all means free to ban me at any time for however long they want to and I wouldn't cry to my dead mother about it. So yeah I would be grateful just for the one word reason for removal, typing out a long winded reason every time for a kick can be tiring.

For serious offences that are banned instantly (eg paedophiles, underage ********) it’s fairly obvious to a chatter why they’re banned.

For the less serious offences that don’t attract an instant ban, there are a series of warnings/mutes/kicks and if ******** have concerns about those, it’s reasonable to expect it to be raised with a mod or an admin in the room before getting to the ban stage. It seems to me that you’d had those warnings/kicks and made an assumption about the reasons rather than clarifying:
I have no issues with these instances, per se. However, the screen that pops up when someone had been kicked and/or banned doesn't give "who" kicked/banned you, or what to do in case one wanted to dispute it. Again, I didn't even know I could do that, let alone where to go. And a single, one-word anonymous comment doesn't say too much for the validity of the argument (in a ******** mind). I seriously doubt any boss of any company wants to hear a one-word excuse why something didn't get done.

Like I said earlier, when I had been kicked previously, I assumed it was from some other user, NOT a mod/admin. Afterall, it appears that users are allowed to kick people for a few various reasons. And I had been getting harassed a lot by a Guest that I was told I basically couldn't do anything about.

Had I actually known that @RustyNail was actually the person kicking me, and/or what his actual complaint was OR that it was directed solely towards my profile (that I would have, and would still), the i would have gladly changed it.

I actually enjoy your site. Still. And I have tried to be nothing but nice and considerate to the few admins/mods/and VIP members that I have interacted with. I do understand your jobs are difficult and unrewarding to say the least. And that you ALL probably have to deal with a lot of assholes. I'm not trying to be one. Again, I'm just hoping for a resolve and possibly an understanding from the admins/mod to the people who are entertained by this site, that just a tiny little bit more of information from @RustyNail would have kept me on the site.

"Soliciting" vs "Soliciting Profile". There's a big difference there.
