Is It Safe or Legal to Buy a Diploma Online?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been seeing a lot of websites offering to sell diplomas online for various degrees. I’m curious if anyone has experience with this? Is it actually legal to buy a diploma online, especially for use in job applications or further education?

What are the risks involved, like scams or legal consequences? Also, how do employers typically view these purchased diplomas? I want to understand the pros and cons before considering anything.

You can print one out yourself and save the money. The problem with buying a diploma, all you get with that piece of paper is a piece of paper. If you try and use it for a job, as soon as they do their due diligence, the school isn't going to have any record of you and you won't get the job. As for any legal action, I doubt it.

You'd get found out in no time at all simply because you wouldn't have the in depth knowledge that a degree confers. If you want a degree then work for it and earn it.

The risk is fraud.
Also most jobs that require degrees also require some sort of licensing exam.
Say if you bought a fake diploma and got a job as a vet lets say.
I bring my dog Cruncher in and your care leads to his death. You would have a ton of charges.
Also you need to read Those sites say they offer FAKE diplomas, and Fake Transcripts and are not attended as genuine.
If you bought one of those then at best you can hang it on the wall and try to impress girls with your many fake degrees.
