So, let me get this straight - people are trying to run for mod like a presidential campaign; threads about becoming a mod turn into whatever the hell you want to call this fuss-fest, and people are deciding who should be mod based on their opinions of other people and not their ability to ignore prejudice and do what's right.

Seriously, we need to stop attacking eachother based on political views and focus on what's really the most important: keeping the ******** here safe from blatant and obvious predators and toxic trolls. If we keep knitpicking based on who thinks what of who and not based on someone's ability to ignore their feelings for what's arguably proper justice, we'll always be short mods and angry nothing ever gets done.
Just my two cents. Knock the politics around being a mod off, and stop attacking potential or active mods because you disagree. Focus on what's truly important; safety of ********.
