so tell me this then why did the mod kick me out for showing a screenshot of the offending profile with the indecent image when they never botherd to open the ibb link to the screenshot and they kicked me for the link to it
Could be a number of reasons. Did you post the link in main chat or in PM? How come you didn’t just report the profile? Posting links is against the rules. Regardless of what you were posting. Did you open dialogue with a mod first before sending the link so they knew what to expect?

and was just typing out what it was and bang kicked

You probably should’ve typed out what you were sending before sending the link itself. I get you were trying to do a good thing, but as a mod yourself, you know we deal with all sorts of malicious and downright disgusting things so a random link in your PM would be like a giant red flag

It’s important to remember this isn’t your site and others may not mod the way you do. Again, I’m sure they’ll appreciate you trying to protect the room. But that’s also why we have a report feature. One click and the profile would’ve been reported for all mods to see
them offenders quickly remove the images soon as a mod comes on dosent matter how many times a report on a profile is if the image is gone nothing will be done
Fair point. Then the next best option would be to explain that to a mod before sending them the link in future
they need to bring back the old mods who new me and new as soon as a ibb link dropd in there pms from me new what it was
Mods move on for many different reasons and new ones take their place. Its definitely worth getting to know the new mods and Karina as well. Or apply to mod yourself

I kicked you for sending links in private that looked very shady. I was the only mod for this evening after my evening work. Not only did I have to deal with a huge amount of spam and perverts, I also have to follow our protocols and links have never been accepted. I advise you in the future to just say this in private and report it so that I can detect such people immediately. Thank you very much in advance!

its the usal way i send screenshots of sex offenders profiles with indecen images as your see before had i reported the profile and when you had logged in he took down the image like the others do old mods had allways stated for screen shots threw ibb

you always can send those but dont put a link in it . We never find link a good idea . Next time just thel me in private i look at the screen and for sure kick them out .

tbh if its summin like this i take the ss, report it, then make sure if its bad cover the bad (edit it). ask the mod if they got the report if they say it got removed ask them how to send a ss like do it here or on forum. then the mod knows exactly what ur doing.

First Id like to ask, just so I understand what youre saying, the person who you were trying to send evidence of takes the indecent photo down when they see a moderator online?
Second, please be careful taking a screenshot of inappropriate photos, I dont know how old you are for one, but also if the photo is of illegal content, you could get into trouble outside Chat Avenue for having that as well.
If you sent the link without any conversation first (Which thats what it sounds like, correct me if Im wrong) then I can see why my moderator kicked you as links to that are very commonly used to send naughty and even illegal things. If this was the case, please be sure to have a conversation before sending said proof in that manner.
Seeing as how this complaint was from a couple hours ago, Im guessing the kick is up otherwise Id lift it right now.
