Some guys over here did an experiment and tested a random group of people off the street for Covid and found that of those that tested positive, almost 90% didn't even realise they had Covid. So now it is believed, after long being suspected, that most people are asymptomatic so continue to go about their daily lives while only a small minority of Covid sufferers show symptoms and isolate.
They also estimate that at this point in time a third of the state that I live in are infected with the virus at this point in time. There are just over 5 million, so that is about 1.66 million people. Take in to consideration that our state was one of the most locked down states and only had a couple of thousand infection up until the borders opened about a month ago gives you some idea how quick it is moving.
