Hi lately this place is REALLY laggy especially 8-9-10 pm gmt.... its almost unuable at times. Doesnt really make the conversation flow whe you have to refresh every sentance!

Mondays?????? try every night of the week uk times 20;00 to 22;00 then it clears a bit, this has been reported and on-going since before christmas. It needs to be sorted before chatter move on to another site.

nothing to do with maintenance, was happening every night especially in desktop. room was actually freezing us mods couldn't do anything in the room,

letting AC admins know, is one step and usually a good one-- If you DM me, I will give you another forum link Mods can forward such information to the site Per CM also 🙂

I was simply letting OP know, that site maintenance on mondays is routine, whether that is the issue relating to AC is unknown to me. Tc

This many users will definitely overwhelm any chat site server, so I can see why cm made a sister room. Anyways, this much users will slow down the fiberoptics, and make the room lag. Pure and simple, I would suggest a daily cleaning of the system logs, so it doesn't lag.

as @anne said: the site is fast and responsive during off-peak hours, and suddenly becomes laggy and often completely unresponsive between 17:00-22:00 GMT. I tried using different browsers, cleared my browser cache and disabled ad blocking with no luck. the issue seems to only affects a portion of users at any given time. I only know this because other users who I've talked to during the laggy hours are not experiencing the same problem. btw, the issue not only affects the chat-room itself, but the entire chat-avenue domain including forums
