Honestly, I think we need a combined one — I mod lesbian chat, and the amount of **** you get in there for being a trans male is stupid 🙃

Definitely make us a channel where the whole community can chat in, so they don’t have the same issue as I’m facing.

I don't know how many users Lesbian Chat averages, but Gay Chat averages >800, and I've modded the room with over 1000 users in there. I think if the rooms were combined, it would be unmanageable. Maybe an additional LGBT room, but not combined.
 
I’ll settle for that, lol! Actually, lesbian chat and gay chat combined would be a **** show. Maybe just a new LGBT one beside them.
 
As David NY says, there can be up to and over 1000 '********' in gay chat, but none of them are actually chatting so it would make an almost unmanagable room in to and almost impossible to manage room.

There is nothing stopping people from creating a side room on either Lesbian or Gay chat to combine both, or making a suggestion to the Admin of each room to try and get a permanent LGBTi+ side room.
 
Congratulations Sertz for being a mod in the lesbian chat room, maybe now some users and mod will be less transphobic among other judgemental issues. I hope you can make changes in there as many people left the chat room bc of certain users and mods. I'm sure no love was lost, but maybe for new lgbtq+ users who go in that room to feel safe and accepted.

nah, keep the gay room and lesbian chat separate, they’re crazy enough as it is without mashing them both together. I’m just passing on the idea of having a room for all users of the community, because there isn’t one. And there is still discrimination if you do use them - myself included - so why not create a new room alongside the existing ones to promote that equality and that would boost more revenue for CM too.

Also, thank you for the welcome and congratulations. Unfortunately we have a long way to go with the discrimination in the room but I’ll keep trying anyway.

I absolutely agree about the discrimination surrounding Trans and Gender Dysphoria, but it would have to be a friendly room where all are welcomed because the best place to learn about these issues is from the people that suffer at the hands of the ignorant. I would definitely be a frequent visitor of that room.

hell yeah! I don’t mind educating ignorance. It’s a shame though, because even in the rooms where you think there would no discrimination against people in the lgbt+, there is. I do try to educate people and call them out on it, but hey.

definitely need a room free for us all to feel safe in, regardless of gender or sexuality. 🥲

by the way, don’t get me room, there are some good eggs in lesbians who aren’t like this, I just think, a room where everyone can just go to would be ideal like.

How people behave and what people think and say is purely a reflection of the person they are.

You are always going to have people like that, but they are the ones that are alienating themselves, trust me, I have seen this for 40 years and you can only be a victim if you allow yourself to be a victim.

Its also very nice that that Jamie has his imaginary friend that cares about what people do in their bedroom BUT stands by idly and watches children become victims of famine, murder, paedophiles etc etc etc.

No matter what no one should be allowed to be able to get away with crimes. The fact that a room is gay chat does not change how actions should be taken. There's need to see wrong as right

There is already a lez chat and a gay chat and now you want an lgbt chat as well? Get over your sexuality and find a more tangible subject to share/talk about with other people.
