Limit the number of gifs.

I am asking for Chat Avenue to limit the number of GIFS or video clips a user can leave in one message.
Every time there is a good thread like samwise is a poo poo head, I have to scroll down a good mile in length to get past Proncessa and RyRys and CIndys stream of gifs before I see any text. Gifs are mainly used to spam or for users of this forum to flame out.

The incentive is having me not wanting to pound a gif flinging user right in the mush.
But they take up bandwidth, We have a lot of users who just love spamming gifs. This is also used to derail threads.
And Pronsessa, I see you reading this remember you are going to ignore me. You can reply but if you spam with gifs the same thing that happened to ryry will happen to you.

I think there is a certain user that not only gifs need to be limited, but also limit the amount of words per post needs to be limited.

I totally agree, especially when they are in all caps and follow no syntax, rhyme, spelling or reason.

It would make forums more usable. Let them spam the chat rooms with the gifs.
I mean ignore is limited. You might be the first person I ignore if I use ignore just saying

Yeah, the theory of ignore the dogs and the dogs go away can work, but then they will hunt in packs with no one calling out their behaviour, then they become empowered and victims become powerless
