There looks to be more on going fallout over the sign stealing cheating that has the astros and mets losing higher up's and managers.
my only question is why if it was so much of an "open " secret why didnt the opposing team just not play? forfeiting based on this seems to be a legit reason i dont think 5 million fine is enough either. i get they have to be reprimanded for this but these owners/teams/players have so much money 5 million doesnt even seem like they are taking it seriously. mlb and nfl are the top 2 programs every young player dreams of being in and they both are rife with scandals and this is showing them that its ok to cheat. they must have spent several practices training the guys to hear the banging, as its clearly too loud on the field to hear much anything especially with the padded helmets.
