Hello, I'd like to start off by saying happy 1 year anniversary of being a Teen Chat Mod!
Now, I will say that making this thread on the same date you became a mod is a coincidence, but a fitting one at that. I have created an appreciation thread for you before, but that was months back and my writing there was...well let's just say less than exceptional. Anyway, let's get this started, shall we @0 zxy
If I had to describe how you are as a mod in one word, I would say: underrated. You tend to stay quiet on the forums and even in the chat room, so your incredible work often goes unnoticed. Unless someone joins the room to see you in action, they might not realize what an amazing moderator you are. Sadly, not everyone can enter the room to see how you mod, and not everyone acknowledges your efforts. So, let me tell them.
I did say earlier that you don't always say much, but whatever you don't say, you make up for with your moderation, which reminds me of our admin @Honeycomb. However, you share more similarities than that. The first thing that comes to mind is the speed; this, I also mentioned in the previous thread, and it still stands. When it comes to actioning people, clearing reports, moderating in general, you are one of, if not the quickest.
0 zxy always manages to stay professional and maintain a good attitude toward all people in the chat, except for when she says she'll have me banned💔. She always answers questions and concerns users may have to the best of her capabilities. Not only does she fulfill the required two hours of daily moderation, but she often stays longer to ensure the chat remains moderated until another staff member comes online.
You've also been a mod longer than I have (and a user for much longer than me), so you have much experience. There have been many instances where I've had a question or needed verification on something, especially when I was a newer mod, and you are always quick to respond and be as clear as possible.
Although there's been many instances where you've helped me out, there's also been instances I've been able to assist you. You've also asked me questions, needed help verifying something, etc. Through our time moderating together and helping each other out, I'm glad to say we've become friends 😁.
Modding with you is always fun and efficient. We've shared some nice and funny moments, one pretty recently if you know which one I mean 😭. @0 zxy truly is one of the best mods I've seen, and a great person as well—with her speed, knowledge, experience, professionalism, humor, attitude, and much more, make me feel sure that you'd be the next admin if Honeycomb were to leave!
I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we all thank you and appreciate all the hard work you've put into the room; and if the rumors are true of you leaving your position, then take the well-deserved break and have a good one.
