Mod Kinda Power Tripping

Room is general chat, my user was just a guest (idkjusthere). I know this isn't really that serious, but the mod Sweet_ums kicked me for 5 minutes for saying a slur without a warning or even a mute. I'll admit that deserved to be actioned obviously because it is against the rules, but afterward I got kicked for 15 minutes for calling them out on it. This was again without warning, mute, or even another 5 minute kick since it was an action different from me saying slurs. I don't exactly expect much to come from this complaint, but I'm kinda curious if I'm wrong here? 🤷‍

Yes you are wrong you knew you broke the rules are you a child? Even though I was waiting for it to be Jose and you said something about MAGA which is a straight kick for that dullard

Hi @helpiguess -

By reading this, it seems as if you were familiar with how things used to run in General Chat. I’m not sure how long of a hiatus you’ve been on, but things have changed and it’s always best to check the room rules first. If you need help locating them, they’re here on Forums and also located in the green topic banner in the room.

You won’t like this response, but @Sweet_ums wasn’t power tripping and did what she was supposed to do - even when you came back and decided to mini-mod her.

Good morning, adding my 2 cents here......first, I don't see your name in there to be able to look up the action (probably has been too long). You seem to acknowledge the slur- if it was racial etc....I would expect a kick straight away. While warnings are given at times when rules are broken, if a racial slur is thrown out- I myself would go straight for the "out for 5 min" route. I don't think @Sweet_ums did anything out of line. Coming back and arguing with her after a kick that you seem to understand was probably deserved.....was probably not the greatest idea. We do have a link to the rules- maybe read those over so this doesn't happen in the future. 🙂
