Hello, I would like to report one of the mods in the kids, chat. Her name is Emileh. She has been abusing her power in my opinion.
The whole ordeal began when a user called out another user that had his profile age set as 46. Due to this being a rule violation, he called the person out in the general chat and, according to the user who called the violation out, reported the user that was violating the rules. Emileh, the mod that was on at the time, rebuked him for calling the person out in general chat instead of reporting him. The user that called the rule violator out responded that he had reported the violator. The rule violator was kicked after that. However, this was only the beginning of the real issue. The user who had made the report proceeded to tell Emileh that she should be looking at things such as a user’s age and the general chat instead of solely relying on reports. Emileh, retorted that people should just report rule violating users. After a bit more arguing by both on the matter, Emileh kicked the user who was disputing the matter with her. There was no warning sent in the general chat nor any citation of the rule that had been violated by him. I do not know if she private messaged him the warning, but, in my opinion, that is likely not the case. During the whole ordeal I had been posting gifs that reflected the arguement, mainly in an attempt at comedy. However, when the person was kicked, I called out Emileh for not having a reason. She responded by saying “don’t push your luck.” I therefore began to call out that I had noticed there being more rule violators in the general chat during times she was the only mod. I did also say that I liked a past mod better than her. Another thing that I called her out for was that she had kicked me while I was on another account in the past due to me stating my opinion on her moderating skills ( if you want to hear more about that event, feel free to ask, and I will give my account of it). After having called her out, she stated a warning for me disrupting the chat. After the warning she said that she gives everyone a warning before they are kicked. I, foolishly not realizing that if I responded she would have a “justified cause” to kick me, responded to her comment by pointing that she had not warned the guy who had called out the rule violator before she kicked him. After that I got kicked.
I believe that this was an abuse of power since, from my point of view at least, she was kicking both of us for stating our opinions. It would have been better if she calmly explained why it was easier to kick people who are reported. She had the opportunity to diffuse the situation by remaining calm and taking the criticism or refuting the criticism in a proper and structured manner. Instead, she got into an arguement with each of us. I would also like to point out that, based on action of kicking me for criticizing her, which she classified as disrupting the chat, she should have also been punished since she partook just as much in the arguing.
I do have video evidence of part of this event. If you would like to see it, please request it.
