It’s quite funny how I dedicated almost two years to this site yet they fire me and leave me no explanation. The members all contacted me and they seemed to be sympathetic yet Chat Avenue owners, who were the ones that fired me for doing my job, never once said thank you. Since I have been fired there are way fewer mods working and when they are are doing the same thing I supposedly was which they call “Silent Modding”. I just tried to send reports in which the room is flooded with kids, yet run out of being able to even report anymore. It’s a joke because when I copied and pasted it to the moderator working they threatened to take action against me. Boy this room has gone to “**** and a handbag fast”!!!! I don't think the owners want you to do your job and all they want is people to be members/guest so they can sell adds. They don't care if there are kids in here or not. I had that problem the whole time I worked here where they would allow them back on. As they called it silent modding, I was working for free for them!!! Sometimes you are too busy answering questions for members and guest to actually communicate with each individual as they want you to. When there are 800 memebers/guest on, it is impossible with one moderator!!!! As far as I am concerned, the owners are breaking the law and I am going to have the Federal Authorities look into this site and see if they can clean it up since the owners do not want to!!!! I doubt anyone will respond to this anyways or they will remove it so it is not seen yet the Authorities will have a copy so they can see if it is removed which should say a lot about the site!!!!!!
 
I sympathize with you- But the bottom line everyone has to accept- as you say in your title, this site is owned. The owners dont have to do anything, or listen or justify to anyone. Whether they should-that might be a matter of interesting discussion. Mods are volunteers. There are no promises nor compensation nor thanks in the fine print implied or not.- mods serve at the pleasure of the owner(s) The only thing you can do, is not volunteer. Im not saying thats what anyone should do or not, just the reality. It sounds like you are unhappy with your mod experience. But if you were willing to mod- without law enforcement drama, then I dont think its ethical or proper to drop a dime on chat ave when things sour. It certainly isnt perfect, but its a good chat site. Its a waste of time to call the feds over hurt feelings. Maybe you would simply be happier as a chatter? Mate, I don't know what you are hoping to achieve with this posting, but you are alienating people that like you.

Some things are not fair, but if you don't like what is happening, stop looking unless you can actually do something to fix it.

Going quietly and fading in to the background has its merits.
 
All the owners of this site care about if getting the money from ad revenue and VIP membership. It doesn't matter if you have given 2 hours or 2 years of your life to this site. You as human being is completely worthless to them, despite the good work you have done. It's very sad I agree. They did a similar thing to a mod on Boys Chat luckily though he was remodded.
 
It happens. i was demodded the other day with no explanation, only thing that was written was FIRED on my mood on the room. Do i care? no! Do i still go to chat and enjoy myself? More than i have in ages. It is just a chat room. Build a bridge. Either way, the owners are money orientated and thats their primary care. It is a business to them., that is it.
