No he wasn’t on I know when he reads them he will clear the chat but they was left for days and then disappeared one by one up the list

Don't you quacks just use "not otherwise specified " so that you get paid out by insurance. Cuz you charge an arm and a liver to listen to someone b1tch for an hour ( but really 45 mins) and sometimes maybe if the wind is blowing the right direction and the lunar cycle is right and a raccoon crossed paths with a chicken you'll throw out some pills . I'll have you know , I've played your game and I've won. I not only keep c/a receipts , I keep 3 ring binder r/l ones too.

True NOS is a bit of a cop out but a patient like Leroy is hard to diagnose. Undifferentiated or Residual are the only ones I am comfortable diagnosing Leroy with. Most of his symptoms exhibited are negative. For someone not familiar positive symptoms are like delusions and hallucinations. Negative refers to a slow down such as in speech and motor coordination.

WTH , You have use a diagnosis to bill. Sometimes I spend over an hour depending and the difference between what I do i.e. listening to someone bitch is no different than what a mod does. The pay rate is different though.

You do have to use a diagnosis to bill . But you and I both know that Ol' Leroy there may have 1 version but insurance says that version doesn't exist. But you know, he knows and all the world knows he needs care so you bill insurance as if he has a version they will pay for. Causing no actual treatment to be done as you have to play the long game in what pills and how long you can see him.

For coding we use the DM-5 psychological , but then it displays the ICD-10 codes which of course is standard doctor coding.
You do have to use a treatment that is reimbursable . Currently conversation therapy is not and I hope that stays that way.
Leroy would be a long term maintenance patient.
