In another chat site they have it where minors can't message someone over 18 and vice versa. They get a message saying can't message them. Chat avenue should do something similar. It would help with some pedophiles. I know it's more about Cody chat updating that feature to be available then actually chat avenue

Btw i honestly had no idea your age. I thought you were a minor. So you don't have to ignore me bc i made a mistake of Pm'ing you on here not knowing your age
 
The fact you made a thread about this because a minor from Girls chat pmed you, is pretty alarming. It's you know, as if you're guilty of something and are trying hard to make the public opinion be that you condone such behavior. A normal person without skeletons in their closet would just block the minor and not think anything of it. You made this thread with a dumb idea (its adults who contact minors, not minors who prey on adults) because you are worried.

How about we don’t attack Corey. I’ve never personally heard of this feature but it may work good for rooms like Boys/Girls/General. But at the same time. People are allowed to talk to whatever age they want aslong as there isn’t any pedophilia 🤷

Ah young padawan you must not know Corey very well. Stop by Girls Chat and see for yourself his behavior and you’ll understand why every chatter and member of staff from every room, even those he doesn’t chat in can’t stand him and call him out for the creep, troll and douchebag he is. 😉

Oh I know Corey and I’ve known him my whole tenure on this site. I feel like the bad reputation he gets just makes people not want to talk to him and purposely wind him up. This whole thread isn’t to be derailed tho talking about his reputation. It was a mere suggestion which is all that should be commented. Not this pettiness that everyone comments
 
Back to the original post. That will only work if people put an age in their profile.....and they're honest about it...or whatever.

If you know Corey so well than you should know that his reputation is well deserved by his own hand. And this thread of his as are all the others just another self serving pity party to deflect from his actions. 99% of staff agrees he should be banned. He’s absolutely indefensible. Anyone who harasses teenage girls including MINORS deserves no leeway. By defending him on any of his posts you’re just giving him credibility that he doesn’t deserve.

Imagine if that happened, then you couldn't periodically end up with underage girls on your Friends List in Girls Chat. Don't deny it, I'm not the only one that's seen it. Then again, maybe that's why you want the ChatMaster replaced... is he watching you? Hmmm? (He posted another thread folks about replacing the CM... go see for yourselves).
 
It's a shite idea. Not all adults are paedophiles and not all young people are vulnerable. I chat to a couple of adults on the forums and I'm perfectly happy with that. In actual life I spend a lot of time around and chatting to adults thanks to my main hobby/activity. It doesn't apply to my room obviously (although we do have some legitimate over 18s) but if I were to rejoin Girls or General chat I'd want to be able to choose who i chatted with.

Now a function where people have the option to to block by age if they choose to do so would be a useful addition.
 
My room is 18+ and there are hundreds of under 18s that get banned every month. People lie about their age. A determined paedophile would just lie about their age to evade the block just like the determined underage users keep coming back to my room to get banned again

Could stop some of them though so not a terrible idea at all

yes Dylan only allows that with his mates in singles, as well as inciting sexual violence against female ******** that he doesn't like. The professionalism that exudes from Dylan is inspiring (sarcasm).
Dylan abuses his position as admin and misrepresents to other admins to manipulate their support in order to silence any reporting of his disgusting behaviour. Furthermore, the favouritism he shows to his reg troll friends in singles, who break every chat rule in the book yet never get muted, kicked let alone banned, shows he is incapable to administering a chat room.
Now watch the deflecting efforts from Dylan and the retaliation.🙂

Don't hold onto this but, your not all wrong here.
We actually agree on something Abi. The filth comes from much further up than Dylan tho but yes he will deflect and make a mountain of excuses.

Should probably get context before commenting. This is mostly in regards to Sang’s claims that I’m a rapist and Dylan condones it.
