Northern Ireland Solider F

As we finally find out the name and identity of "Solider F" as David James Cleary who (premeditatedly) murdered two children during the Troubles which plagued Northern Ireland and made a million times worse by the British Army. Whilst this happened almost 50 years ago should the former solider still face prosecution for his terrible actions today? and if he doesn't get a fair trial what should be done about him?

Before we get started I am an Irish Republican and support a United Ireland. I whole heartedly believe that even during the chaos of the battlefield children should not and never be placed in any harms way even if a child is armed with an AK47 and opened fire. As a professional solider you still do not shoot at children, take cover or just get the hell out of there.

Murder is murder Pablo. It doesn't matter if you were in uniform or in civilian clothes, murdering a child is one of the worst crimes a human being can commit. If he won't get prosecuted through the English courts and justice is denied to the victims family then in my opinion the IRA should deem him a legitimate target for execution. In a similar or same way as they dealt with Louis Mountbatten in County Sligo.

Ouch. I wonder why she never told me 😢

Really though, nobody outside the island of Ireland cares. And I hazard of those on the island of Ireland there's less than 1% who do care.
