Hi,

So who here is into old school professional wresting?

I can remember back to 1980, when I was just 11 years old, and coming home every Saturday afternoon from junior league bowling to watch the WWF wrestlers go at it for an hour. Among my favorites were Bob Backlund, Big John Studd, Andre The Giant and Rowdy Roddy Piper, just to name a few. What are yours?

Cute! I remember he died, was shocked to just find out it was in 1993!

The old school stuff is all I'll watch, as I find today's WWE too "showy" and seems to be more about theatrics than it used to be. Yes, sadly we lost Andre in 1993. And we have lost so many of the classic since. To name a few:

I so have to agree. Today it's all about show. No doubt today's pro wrestlers are well trained in strength and choreography, but it's just not believable.
