Not at all but it is time to have a white privilege conversation as it relates to Chat Avenue, the last black mod I know of is Sweetness and that was around the time, I was modding in adult. At least Cat and then Kim do not look at the color of a person's skin.

I never asked what race/colour anyone was-that seems to me to be dangerous and could lead to spurious accusations. Im just glad to have volunteers who show up and who have a good attitude.

You hired Toc back in the day -who is asian - and im glad to say ive done the same thing. But I did it because she is an excellent moderator, not for optics.

The only black regulars I've seen in General are two females who are habitual pot stirrers. Should he have hired them just because of their skin color?

It's a chat room, he picked whom he deemed fit to do the job, he didnt take their gender, sex, race or religion into consideration because it doesnt matter. He didnt have a large pool of people to choose from, especially since it requires him to target only people who are trust worthy, reliable, reasonable and accountable which further limits the choices for moderating.
