Paid Admin/ moderators or do away with it

Simple enough that i really should not have to explain.

But here ya go, the year is 2026.

People like to work from home. I am guessing this site is based in the USA? doesnt really matter where, at a minimum Admins should be paid not volunteers, because they are getting nothing for their service other than a worthless badge. Free VIP Plus or Free VIP for Admin is bupkiss as well. They are putting in the time to deal with things paid staff of Chat Ave do not want to deal with. It is very easy to hire a third party to vet and interview an Admin position, and at bare bones, pay them a minimum wage.

I can see why one would not want to pay the moderators, but paying moderators and creating that as a paid job, would be an incentive for the graveyard shift for late nightowls to clean the filth out of the streets .

The problem is that mod/admin powers are attractive to third world internet fraudsters as they can take an unpaid staff position and act like corrupt police, turning a blind eye to pm fraud attempts.

If I was in charge their would be 5 crooks that would be immediatly removed.
