Piranhas

Okay, so I know this sound's crazy, but recently I've been thinking about purchasing piranhas, I don't know why but I've took a fancy to buying a school.

And I know you're probably going to reply, "Omg man are you crazy?" It turns out they don't attack you unless you provoke them or they are just simply... hungry.

I do not know if you are being serious or not.....but....I say go for it. I mean, how many people can say, "Want to see my Piranha tank?".
Or, "Can I please just buy the whole cow? I need to feed my Piranhas." Or, "We can threaten him with death by Piranha."

In all seriousness, I just read (hey, you got me to research. Yay!) that you'd have to keep them in a group of four or more. Do you have a tank big enough for that?

Yeah, and you only need a 100 liter tank, and the piranhas only cost ?15 here.
 
I wouldn't trust sticking my hand anywhere near them but if that's what you want to buy well, its your choice.

Would certainly make for an interesting pet to have, though.

Not entirely a piranha but, You could get oscars .. you can keep 1 or 2 of those .. just as ferocious as them though .. and you can teach them to play with pingpong balls .. I used to have 3 .. 2 pared off to breed though .. then it got nasty lol.. had to take one out .. and that was a 4ft tank.. roughly 350 litres ..

Hello.
You may also want to consider that they generally only go for live prey too.
This involves dropping said mammals/reptiles/fish etc into the tank for the piranhas which is quite gruesome to watch.
