Question Regarding Users Circumventing The New Child Safety Feature

Hi,

I'm just after some clarification if possible please,

I reported a user for telling me he was 40yrs old in a pm, while his profile said 14yrs old,

The mod overseeing the room at the time called me out in the main room chat stating they weren't going to action the report, due to me making the initial contact.

I was surprised by this and still am, surely who contacted who first is irrelevant, if there is evidence of someone using a work around to get by such an important safety feature.

Should I continue to report users bypassing the feature in this way?

I mean, we do always need to know when an adult is faking an age, so I guess in short yes please always make sure to let us know when someone is doing that as its very serious extreme predatory behavior 🙂

My opinion on this is agreeing with @Simply Karina any concerns of this type should be reported to staff as it is very shady and preditory
If anyone has any concerns of these types contact staff immediately and it will be dealt with no matter what the room is
