We now are hearing that Windham had a heart condition which was exasperated when he caught COVID earlier this year. The reports are that he passed away due to a heart attack.

At first it was Barry who played Uncle Howdy and later it was Bo Dallas from what I understand. That storyline would have been amazing if they could have continued it.

Yes I thought originally it was Barry. I know that Barry also had a health issue which prohibited him from seeing that to completion. Still a sad loss so young, reading what his contemporaries are saying you understand how others felt about him.

I did not know that.
It’s mostly still rumors…but you can clearly tell the first uncle howdy was older than the one that appeared in ring with bray. And Bo was seen backstage at a wwe event that uncle howdy had a promo in.
I know they looked different for sure.
I really feel like there were more than just those 2 tbh. The different masks made it feel like there were.

As they should. They also are giving all proceeds from sales of his merch to his fiancé and kids.
The part where they had the spotlight on his rocking chair made me lose it 😢

Watched part/most of it before coming back online mainline to work. Love the tribute to Bray and to Terry Funk.
I was sobbing when they did the spotlight on the rocking chair and at the end when they had his lantern in the ring. It was a beautiful tribute.
Im just really happy that did right by him, he was really talented and easy to fall in love with all his characters. He will definitely be one of a kind.
