Seth took a drink of the water they'd given him, leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms. There was a smug look on his face, as if he WERE the killer, but it was just an act. He could rub it all in everyone's face when this was all over. Seth craned his neck to look at the man behind him, holding out his hand. The man put the evidence in his hand and Seth plopped it on the table: A picture of Nelson's chest ripped apart by a knife.

"Everyone knew about me and Nelson's fight in the printing room. He's a little rat, that one. It was the perfect thing to do. This guy," Seth pointed his finger at the man to his left, "Has it all figured out. Nelson came over, trying to talk me out of whatever. Said it had gone to far. There was a fight and I killed him. The knife was one I had in the sink, only fingerprints are mine. Basically, we lost."

Seth took a drink of his water again and placed the empty glass on the table, his eyes half closed. The smile spread into a grin, and Seth leaned forward, lacing his fingers together.

This should indeed liven things up a little more, but it's sad to throw away all the plot that's already happened.
Perhaps there's a way to join the two, say for instance we just speed the story up a little to the point where Keikoa's being crowned Queen; we'd add bits like what changed the Gods' minds, how things calmed down a little, and how things went from bad to worse concerning the Daemons. Like how they rejected Aden as their leader so he's now fighting against them like everyone else?
Dunno if that'd be too complicated, but hey, I bet I could make it work somehow.

Just a thought, btw, I'm cool to start over if that's the general consensus.
