If you're not just yanking our manmeat, and want to actually know, then I suggest you take a look in the threads. Solstice/WaroftheGods II or any of the others. That will give you an idea of how to rp in the forums.

Have you ever heard of the butterfly effect?

What you say has a difference in what happened to someone's parents in the past.

Here's a basic rundown:

"Your dad sucks!" causes a "My dad died last year" affect. The time of death is always very recent, to make you feel even worse.

"Your dad is awesome!" causes a "Why thank you" affect, commonly known by an ancient race as "manners." Scientific studies show that "manners" have been extinct since 1981.

Vice versa.

"Your mom sucks!" = "My mom abondoned me when I was born."

"Your mom is the shit, man!" = "ya i no, sheez ttly ftw."

T2 is a type of realtime RPing.

In each RP "genre" (as I call them) there are certain rules and regulations to follow.

There are three steps in any realtime RP genre, and these are range, attack, connect.

Range is to make your way towards your opponent in order to be close enough to attack.

Attack is the motion of aggression you make to your opponent.

Connect is the connection of said attack.

In any realtime RP there are word sets you must follow.

In T2, range must have seven words, attack must have ten, and connect must have seven.

-He slid on his feet to the man known as Sinep Anigav, kicking up dust as he did so.-

-He then sent a fist to said man with intense speed.-

-Said fist collided hard with Sinep, knocking him on his ass.-

The hyphens are action marks. They mark what you're actually doing instead of someone just being like "well Jimbo slid over to the chicken and handed it a whollop of Canadian turkey dick." Action marks are required.

There are many other Realtime Styles, with different rules and regulations.

H4 - 10-10-10

And a bunch of others I blanked out on.

There's ASomethingSomething Royale or something which is like, no typos and opponent's name in each segment.

Basically someone could write a book about it.

Maybe someone did.

But no one even RP's either the right way or fast enough anymore, so this knowledge is useless.

I'd like, show you with MSN or something because it's easier to explain but I lost a bunch of my speed when I quit and all the "freestylers" came and took over VGC and Kids and ETC.

And yeah, you can have interesting conversations that aren't about some random spamming, but I don't come here to get involved in deep philosophical talks and stuff (which is what I'd call an interesting conversation), or looong conversations about the meaning of life, what your view on abortion is, who should be president, blahblahblah; if I wanted to have conversations like that here, I'd probably go to one of the boards concerning those topics.
I come here to relax, chill out and have fun... what's fun about the boring day to day stuff like "oh how are you today?" "oh good but I had to take my cat to the vets"? That's just boring smalltalk.

Oh, I've been meaning to ask for a while guys, concerning the My Little Pony Wars RP, would you prefer it to be two clans of ponies against one another or ponies versus Carebears?

There can be female AND male in either race.

You'll be able to choose colour scheme, abilities and such.
If you're a pony you can be a unicorn and/or pegasus, and as a Carebear of course you'll be able to have a special ability ray that shoots from your stomach (you'd probably have a symbol on your stomach that's related to the ability, like if it's a lightning strike or something you'd have a lightning bolt) and Carebears can also combine their bear blasts to make them stronger.
The original thing this beam would do would be to bring love and happiness into the enemies' heart, which in the RP would either temporarily stun your enemies and make them either fight on your side or not fight you at all and they recover from it after a while, or you could go for a more violent attack so it's just a general ray beam, maybe a combination of your personal skills, eg: lightning strike and starbeam would together make a starbeam with lightning affinity.

As for the ponies, obviously having a horn means that you can shoot some kind of blast from it and ram people with it, wings mean you can fly, and all ponies have some personal ability, maybe telepathy, maybe they can fire a beam from their eyes or mouths, and of course ponies and bears have different basic strengths, as bears are bipedal (walk on their back legs, have arms and hands) and ponies of course have four legs, but are able to pick things up in their mouths and stand on their hind legs for a short amounts of time, such as leaning up against something to reach higher with their head.

So lemme know. ;D

EDIT: Oh, and don't worry about the details, I'll add examples to help in the character profile for you guys to fill in, and I'll post my own as a completed example too.

EDIT 2: I told my sister and she suggested the special ability to rape the enemy...she said if she was a pony she'd have a unicorn horn for a dick to suit this special ability... Lol.
